Freddie Mitchell talks about 4th & 26
I dare you to watch this and not snicker...
Doesn't Freddie remind you just a little bit of Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite?
And if you want to re-live 4th & 26 as well click here.

That guitar is fantastic
Who knew he liked flamenco?
Imagine Freddie Mitchell’s career if he hadn’t made that 4th and 26 play. Would anyone even remember him?
he’s on the receiving end of the 14 sec. play in dallas on mnf….
"Eagles fans are a passionate group who love their team," said McNabb, "if not the actual players. It's not like winning a Super Bowl before the first month of the season is the hardest thing they've ever asked of me. That'd be all those times they asked me to go kill myself."

It’s amazing how he did all the work on that play. He snapped the ball to himself, read the coverage, found the seam in teh defense, ran the route, and threw the ball to only spot where he could catch it.
It’s amazing play and Freddie deserves credit for his role. But didn’t 5 at least have little to do with it, FredEx?
I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.
I was thinking the same thing. Freddie makes it sound like he was the only Eagle on the field for the play.
he wasn’t?
"I tried to run him over but Eli had his big boy pads on and he kind of stopped me from getting in the end zone. The next time I’ll try to jump over his head.’’ - Asante Samuel
if you watch him on the video
all he does is run right down the middle and turn back to mcnabb a yard away from the marker. but in his route, he runs himself towards the safety rather than sit down in that hole in the zone.
it’s actually mcnabb’s GREAT throw on his back shoulder that makes the play, freddie’s route running almost turned it into an INT if not for super5. more proof of mcnabb’s ability as a quarterback to make the right throw for the situation.
but yeah…freddie…all you, boy….all you.

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!!!!
What did he get on the Wonderlic?
just asking…
The thing I remember most about 4th and 26
is that for some reason I knew we were going to convert some how.
Let's get it.
Will someone get this man a reality show or something so we can watch these delusions of grandeur all the time?
me, me, me, me, my, me
"The brownies,'' Fernandez said after the game. "The brownies are good for me to make three-points.''
so...
he’s not an unintelligent person. i bet he’s decently smart. he’s just not right in the head. he’s the definition of self-centered. he’s got an ego larger than life. he’s like TO without the highlight reel. he’s just not normal. i bet that’d make a GREAT reality show, TO and fredex in the same room??? someone call a tv producer, we’ll split the millions…
Who would play freddy Mitchel if a movie was made of him?
I got it, Delroy Lindo
see for yourself

Bleed green, or don't bleed at all!
+1
It had touched me personally very very deeply even though I could not, at that time, have told you what the play is about.
What? . . . lol . . .
