Just when you think he's FINALLY gone
Per PFT
It probably means nothing.
But, let’s face it, Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport is hardly a major hub of transportation.
Only five flights arrived there today, and only six departed.
One of the arrivals came from Minneapolis, and one of the departures headed back there.
The plane from Minneapolis arrived at 9:11 a.m. local time, and left at 4:14 p.m. local time.
It probably has nothing to do with one of the more famous residents of Hattiesburg. After all, he’s retired from playing football, and he has no intention of coming back.
Favre said so himself. “It’s all rumor. [There’s] no reason for it.”
Oh, wait. That was last year, when Favre shot down in early July talk that he wanted to come back.
Since he was telling the truth then, he’s surely telling the truth now.

Nah
he’ll pull a jordan and go into the minors. THEN he’ll come back for a couple more years
"I think if you go low on Runyan, he may drop the knee somewhere. So I think you have to stay high and just let him baptize you. That's probably what I would do. You know when you go backwards and your head hits first and you wake up as if somebody baptized you or blessed you? I think that would be Runyan right there, all day, every day."

Here come the non-stop Favre to Minnesota stories for the rest of the off-season. This guy needs to stay retired.

I think it’s just the media trying to squeeze out more stories. Favre probably is going to retire/stay retired.

He'll retire!
Now that Madden retired, Favre will retire too. I was sick of Madden talking about Favre every single week. Week in and week out. Even if his team wasn’t playing. It was the biggest broadcasting man-crush out there. Who would build up his ego without Madden?

Joe….still think Andy would never draft a RB in the 1st? by all accounts he was ready to draft Moreno if he has fallen to where he was expected too.

Favre: I've Always Had A Passion For Stopping Things, Then Starting To Do Things Again
KILN, MS—Embattled quarterback Brett Favre attempted Monday to explain his recent actions concerning his request for a release from the NY Jets by holding a press conference in which he explained his lifelong love for quitting things briefly before resuming those same things after a certain interval of time had passed. “I’m just that kind of guy, I guess—a gunslinger on one hand, but on the other, a man who knows when to stop, at least at first, but then it turns out I really didn’t know when to stop after all,” Favre said. “I guess you could say I’m a guy who quits, then realizes I don’t know the meaning of the word quit.” A number of the journalists present were later heard to wonder, in light of Favre’s recent inexplicable behavior, if perhaps drinking heavily were one of the things the first-ballot Hall of Famer had stopped doing before starting again.

Farve will never be a Viking
All that would do at this point would be soiling his legacy. Guaranteed Green Bay signs him to let him retire a Packer and retire his # and all that.

Just a theroy...
But it seems to me that Mangini is such an A-hole that he is why Favre started playing badly the last 5 or 6 games. He threw some interceptions around week 10 and I think Mangini just turned on him. I feel sorry for Cleveland fans- his reign of terror there will last maybe a couple of seasons and make them the next Lions.
PS- Favre is too classy to let the public know that the environment he was in is what did it.
