"There are a lot of things you can do with him," Reid said. "He ran a ton of reverses and all of the little gadget plays that go with it. I would say he should be able to work in and get time in there." Maclin will likely return kickoffs, but DeSean Jackson could stay on punts.

I agree...
Reid has to find plays to get Maclin the football, because that guy is a touchdown waiting to happen. He might not learn the entire offense right away (it takes like 2 or 3 years to master it), but they’d be foolish to not go out of their way to get him in there.
To be honest though, I think this is going to shape up similar to last season with DeSean. Nobody expected him to start as a rookie but he was simply a better player than the rest of the corps. Maclin’s enormous talent and upside will start to shine through which will put a number on the days Reggie Brown has left in Philly.

I think
Maclin will be starting by Week 6. He is simply better than Avant and Baskett, and when he somewhat gets the playbook will be better than Curtis.
He needs to start early. The best way to learn is by doing, right?
I’m afraid that if he or McCoy dont do well McNabb will be blamed yet again.
and when he somewhat gets the playbook will be better than Curtis.
I know what you’re getting at here, but knowing the playbook and executing are two different things and I’m sure it’s going to take him longer than that…
