Eagles draft game
Ok, we played this last year and I thought it was pretty fun.
Assuming no more deals are made before the draft, the Eagles have 10 picks in this weekends draft:
1 first
1 2nd
13rd
4 5ths
2 6ths
1 7th
The goal of the game is to guess who the Eagles are going to draft. Because the Eagles have 10 picks, you can guess up to 10 players. You can make your 10 picks in any round...if you think the Eagles are going to trade back into the 2nd, you can pick 2 players in the 2nd round.
For scoring you get 1 point for picking the correct player, 1 additional point if you pick that player in the right round, and 1 additional point if the pick was in day 2.
Please email your 10 picks to BGNdraftgame@gmail.com in the following format:
title of email is your BGN username
(Player) -(round)
(Player)-(round)
Ect.
I will announce the winner in a fanpost after the draft. All entries must be in by 4 o clock tomorrow.

Why do I have a feeling that they are going to do something totally unexpected, like move up in the 1st and draft some defensive lineman that was not projected to go until the late 1st anyway, while us fans all stare at the TV with a “WTF?” look on our faces.
I think we go offensive skill player.
And still have a WTF look on our faces.

This is mine... (not really)
Would you guys be mad IF…. 21 rolls around and Moreno is gone.. I KNOW OMGGG RIGHT ANUJ!!! then we call up the Cards.. offer a 1st and a 3rd.. they accept… McCoy or Jennings fall to us at 53 we take on of them… jerk off in the 3rd… then trade up in the 4th to take the best available TE. I know it’s unlikely but it would mean are draft class would be something like …Peters, Boldin, McCoy, Cook/Ingram/Nelson, and who ever else…
DeSEAN JACKSON THE 10NE
If I actually get an entry that trades the first and the third pick for Boldin I will immediately disqualify you.

Ours for the weekend...
… Just sit with a bunch of friends and a few 30 racks, and drink whenever an announcer says “potential” or “upside”. Force someone to finish their beer if you can correctly guess the pick/trade.
A lot of fun by the end of the first round… If you can make it to the end of the second, then you’re probably an alcoholic.
.K
one of the best Ideas I have ever heard for the NFL draft is going to a strip club. I never did it, but I had a friend whose frat went to this BYOB place with a keg. Having the keg/watching the draft gives you a reason not be sitting right next to the action handing out 1s the entire time. Then you can watch the show inbetween picks, and turn your attention to football when something important happens.

Question
lately, I’ve been watching some draft coverage, and people are talking about washington trading up to get sanchez because “they have the picks and the money”. The part that throws me about this is the “they have the money”. I mean, they spent a ton in FA. Also, I just looked it up real quick, and according to this website, they are already over the cap (if i’m reading that right). can anyone explain how they could possibly pay a top ten pick and still stay under the cap? Also, I realize this isn’t related to the original post, but I thought it was the most logical place to pose this question.
Sorry......
Maybe i should read the whole post instead next time ;)

7 Knowshon Morenos?!
Brilliant! We can put one or two at RB, one at Wideout (screw you anquan! we got knowshon!) and put another one at safety/nickle corner!
About 10 minutes ago, I was pondering my own existence. Then I decided that it didn't matter.
Mine:
Moreno-1
Donald Brown-2
Chase Coffman-2
Max Unger-2
Hakeem Nicks-2
Cornelis Ingram-3
Nic Harris-5
Anthony Parker-5
Tony Fiametta-6
Graham Harrell-6
0 points
1 point for Ingram…you would have gotten 2 points if you had gotten the right round in the 2nd day.

Congrats Wake Forest Matt….you are the winner of the 2009 BGN Draft Game. Can’t believe you predicted Ingram in the 5th…I would have thought no later than the 3rd myself.
