Final Eagles Mock Draft Database
The Eagles mock draft database has been updated for the final time. By virtue of the Jason Peters trade, the Eagles hold only the #21 overall pick in the first round.
Of the 39 mocks listed in the database, 24 have the Eagles taking a RB. 19 of those 24 have Knowshon Moreno as the pick. Moreno is by far the most popular pick. The second most popular pick is Brandon Pettigrew, who was the Eagles pick 7 times.
That means 31 of 39 picks in the database have the Eagles taking a RB or TE. Zero WRs were forecasted in the first round.

its kind of sad that they're all invariably wrong
because we’re going to trade out of the first round like always.
About 10 minutes ago, I was pondering my own existence. Then I decided that it didn't matter.
Stop this nonsense
The Eagles have traded out of the first round under Reid twice, which is exactly the same number of times they’ve traded up in the first round.

I think we will only trade out of the first round bc Moreno will be gone. There is no reason to stay in the first unless Moreno is there, or unless some amazing prospect slips to us.
My guess:
1.) Moreno is gone
2.) We trade down to pick up Donald Brown
3.) We also move up with our surplus of late rounders to get a decent TE and a CB
4.) Who knows the rest?, too many variables to predict

I like trading down
it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside knowing we’re getting quality 2nd, 3rd, and late round players. I’m just sayin the mocks are all wrong cuz I bet we do it again this year.

because we don't know
who our starting safety OR our starting CB will be right now
About 10 minutes ago, I was pondering my own existence. Then I decided that it didn't matter.
Actually I would not be surprised at all if we went defense with that pick, especially if it is the best value. CB or DE in particular.
we will trade down
whatever you think thier gonna do they will do the opposite and prove us wrong

…about how this front office operates, isn’t it EXTREMELY unlikely they go RB at 21? (and the guy who had them picking LB is laughable). I say all signs point to corner. Not saying this is or is not what I want them to do, just saying we have a pretty extensive pool of data from which to conclude who the F.O. does things and values various positions. For the same reason, I didn’t buy for even a quarter of a second SI’s report that we were “frontrunners” for T Gonzalez. This regime trading a high pick for a player in his mid-30s? Not bloody likely. Again, not saying whether I agree or disagree with that philosophy, just that I think we can all agree the philosophy is firmly entrenched.
