Major NFL Draft Announcement

Nfl-draft-goodell_medium

Big news here at BGN and SBNation as a whole. The NFL has officially credentialed myself and Mile High Report to cover the NFL draft April 25-26 at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

We will be live in person covering the draft delivering real time updates and hopefully getting lots of chances to talk with players, league insiders, & analysts. This is big for BGN and the company as a whole and will take our draft coverage to another level.

If you guys have any suggestions or things you'd like to see or hear from the event, let me know.

Just Congrats man! It’s a testament to the work you put in here. Thanks for what you do!

Congrats

Sounds like a good opportunity and a sweet gig. BGN and MHR definitely set themselves apart from the bulk of sb nation.

Congratz!

Try to refrain from booing. ;)

by pvtpyle69 on Apr 20, 2009 8:14 AM EDT reply actions

HaHa, yes, luckily we don’t have to worry about a quote like the following from a national media outlet. “The level of booing from eagles blogger was such that he was unable to perform the duties of a draft analyst.”

If you see Merrill Hoge, do you think you could give him a swift kick in the Planters?

Congratulations, Jason

Jason, you deserve this honor. We owe you a lot for developing this site and putting your heart and soul into it. We have one of the most active NFL blogs and its because of your hard work and devotion. I commend you on your dedication and discipline in producing such a fantastic site. I know that your coverage of the draft will be similar in quality. Well done.

Congrats!

That’s awesome, man. Good for you.

I actually do have a suggestion. We all know who THIS guy is, right?

He was the guy that was leading the boos at the 1999 NFL Draft when we took McNabb. If he’s there, you should do an interview with him.

I’d love to see someone grill him, and he’s usually there. A sampling of question ideas…

- “Are you a McNabb fan now?”

- “Even if you didn’t like the pick, why would you boo as viciously as you did, especially whenMcNabb was there in person? He’s going to lead your team, and the very first sound he hears as an Eagles is total anger? What were you thinking?”

- “Who do you want the birds to take this year? If you want a running back, are you going to boo if we don’t take one?”

- “You do know that females wear earrings, right?”

- “Why the shoulder pads? Are you hoping that during a game all our linebackers will get hurt, and Andy Reid will point up at you and say, ‘That guy looks ready to play! Get him down here!’”?

Just a suggestion...

Have tasers handy if the Eagles staff decide to trade away their #21 pick for a first round pick next year.

Yes, I have some suggestions I'd like to see and hear.

In the first round the eagle have chosen…..

I’ll think of a few suggestions for you to consider over the week. Right now, all I got is wear a Kevin Kolb jersey and hold up a “Bring Back Fred-Ex” sign. lol

That is great news. Jason, are you going to wear a draft day suit? Something low-key like a 3-button teal suit with yellow pin stripes?
