if we somehow keep all picks the eagles will pick...

I doubt the Eagles will keep all 12 of their 2009 draft picks. I understand that many people have the Eagles needing and drafting a safety early in the draft. I think the Eagles are set for this year. I think Mikell will move over to FS and Sean Jones will start at SS. Demps will play some time too. Next year I see the Eagles trading up for Taylor Mays (future B-Dawk) from USC. Mays is a physical specimen who hits like a hurricane. He may not have the leadership or be loved as much as Dawkins, but he has the physical tools to be better than Dawkins. Yes....Better

I alson don't have the Eagles drafting an offensive lineman early. I think that MJG will earn the job at LG and Herremans will slide out to LT. Nick Cole, King Dunlap, and Winston Justice are legit backup linemen.

21. Brandon Pettigrew TE Oklahoma State

A 6'5" 265 lb tight end who can catch and BLOCK. Would make an immediate impact for the Eagles.

28. Aaron Maybin OLB/DE Penn State

After a disappointing Combine I find the Eagles will take this Nittany Lion. He is an athletic DE coming out of college. He could be a top notch OLB.

53. Kenny Britt WR Rutgers

6'4" 215 pound WR who can catch and is strong (23 reps on bench press). True red zone threat. Could step in be #2 receiver right away.

85. Rashad Jennings RB Liberty

Large 6'1" 235 lb workhorse RB. Nice compliment to Westbrook and Weaver.

121. Kevin Barnes CB Maryland

This former track standout has the physical gifts to be great. He just needs to learn the game a little more. Did I  mention he is 6'1".

141. Joel Bell OT Furman

The Eagles attended this 6'7" OT's pro day and seem to be impressed with his upside and athletiscism. Has a great chance of making the team if he is picked.

157. Sebastian Vollmer OT Houston

Could also make the team. Workout warrior???

159. Brandon Hughes CB Oregon State

Draft status on the rise after running a 4.4 40 at the combine. Really only selected to push Jack Ikegwuonu.

194. Demetrius Byrd WR LSU

Decent size at 6'2" with good hands. Could push to make the team.

195.  Brooks Foster WR North Carolina

6'3" WR. Had knee problems which hurt his stats and draft staus for th 09 season. Could be great, could be awful. Worth the pick when you have 12 of them.

230. Graham Harrell QB Texas Tech

Accurate QB who could end up being a steal in a few years. If anything he could be the #2 QB when Donovan leaves and Kolb starts. Then again, he could get outplayed by Feeley and not even make the team.
