Iowa corner Bradley Fletcher visits Eagles
The Eagles are hosting yet another cornerback leading up to this month's draft, this time it's Bradley Fletcher from Iowa. Fletcher is another CB over six feet tall, but there's talk that he could end up playing safety at the NFL level.
He runs a 4.4 40 and is expected to go around the 3rd or 4th round.
Scott from ITI noted that the Eagles have been working out a whole bunch of corners, in fact the only position they've worked out more is offensive line.

Not surprised
Jim Johnson blitzes rely heavily on good coverage from corners and safeties. If you look at recent years when the Eagles did poorly, Lito or other corners missed games and the secondary got burned. I don’t know how Rod Hood is starting in Arizona honestly.
Tack on a complicated system to learn and it can take a while to develop anyone in the secondary. I don’t see them taking Vontae Davis, and I don’t know if anyone else in the draft could be plugged in effectively in their first year at corner.
Despite what anyone thinks of Ikegwono’s prospects, the Eagles will always grab cornerbacks early. I love Sheldon Brown, but Brown is getting older and I see him getting released in the next couple years unless he’s moved to safety, and the Eagles won’t want to pay him that kind of money to play safety.
