PLEASE stop posting stuff in the fanposts that has already been posted or is already on the front page. It's stupid. There's no point in it

Comment on someone elses thread... they beat you to the punch

I read the fun little outburst on one of the Glew Trade threads and a comment was made about getting our panties in a bunch over multiple fanposts...

While the economic crisis may be a slightly bigger issue, SEEING 10 DIFFERENT FANPOSTS ABOUT THE SAME THING IS SUPER ANNOYING!

On a side note, I said a long time ago that i thought it would be a great idea for a new user to have to make 50 comments before they have the enablement to make a fanpost.

I still think thats a good idea.

I have come to the conclusion that if it is big news, you can do a fanpost with a Link, and when the same news makes it to the front page, delete your post as courtesy to others.

deleting the post removes the comments and as long as it’s the only current thread there is still some good info. I think once it makes the front page all discussions transfer over.

It’s annoying to discuss why the FO let Dawk go with 6 different people in 4 different threads when everyone is making the same points.

there was an onslaught of people posting about Dawk and TO all the same posts within miniutes or hours of eachother. You happen to have been lumped in with them, although I don’t think 700 was directing this to you.

i too find it kind of annoying when there’s multiple fanposts about the same thing… but let’s get real, there are bigger things to worry about. Making a fanpost about trying to get people to stop making similar fanposts isn’t going to change anything.
