Around SBN: Miikka Kiprusoff Wins 300th Game, Buffalo Crushes Boston

Just visited the NovaCare Complex

This was the contest I won on the Eagles website. Open Bar & Hors'doerves, tour of the facility, dinner and the Meet & Greet with Trevor Laws and new QB Coach James Urban. Both guys were extremely friendly as was the entire staff. The food was top notch (Prime Rib) and the facility is beyond state-of-the-art. Only 25 people won this contest out of thousands of entries according to Eagles personel. Oh yea, I won an autographed Ansante Samuels Eagles helmet as a door prize.

Great pictures, I love getting an inside feel for what goes on in the complex. Grats on the helmet too, Asante is already a valuable signature, but if Laws becomes an NFL star then you really have a great piece of memorabilia.

That is sick ...

… but who gets ink of a kicker?

And even if I did get Akers, I’d leave Koy the Holder out.

Clearly dude is way more dedicated than I am.

Still waiting for the Eagles to Bring It Home For Jerome

Random observations

Stewart Bradley’s for Mitt Romney, Sheldon Brown has a shower basket, Trevor Laws dosing up on Pepto Bismol, Omar Gaither has an Easy Button. Shawn Andrews digs spongebob. Stacy’s just moving in.

Shepard got sharpied into special teams, maybe that’s why Sheppard was disgruntled.

You're right Whodie126

Laws was a very chill dude. It was like hanging out with friends, he didn’t speak down to us like we were kids and he was a pro athelete. He has a great sense of humor and is very genuine. QB Coach James Urban was extremely informative and another genuine dude. He is rather short and throughout his chat with us he kept motioning like he was throwing a football so I asked him “Can you throw a football?” and he replied “Oh I can throw a football”. Someone else asked him if the Eagles are going to trade away their picks and he replied “Be sure to watch the very beginning of the draft”. Not sure what he is implying with that.
