Scout's INC. chimed in when the Eagles "Were on the Clock," on ESPN the other day, and they said "McNabb will never get a true #1 WR." The Scouts Inc. wrtier said he thinks DeSean Jackson is good BUT doesn't think he's good enough to be a #1.
I'm about to lose my f-ing mind! What the F is a "true" #1 WR? Kevin Curtis is a 1k yard WR, and so is DeSean Jackson. Jackson nearly became the 7th rookie WR EVER to have 1000 yars receiving..But he's not good enough to become a "true" #1? I don't get it... I'm going to go postal if I keep hearing this "true" #1 talk. Now I'm hoping we don't get Anquan Boldin or Braylon Edwards so our current talented group of WRs can make these so-called "experts" look foolish..
You know, in the X's and O's of football you have an X WR an a Y WR... There's no such thing as a "true" #1 WR in any offensive scheme that I know of. I wish someone/or myself could write an article with AndrewB stats to back up our argument that we have plenty of talent at the WR posistion. It's so damn frustrating to read anything anymore because the #1 thing comes up EVERY TIME!
