Philadelphia Eagles Mock Draft Database
The Eagles mock draft database, which is located right here has just been updated with tons of new mocks.
I've included the whole database after the jump as well...
In the 2009 NFL draft, the Eagles hold both the #21 and #28 overall picks in the first round. The following is a sampling from mock drafts all over the internet. Keep checking back as I'll be keeping this as up to date as possible. If you'd like your mock draft included, just send me an email. BleedingGreenBlog at Gmail.com

Who?!?
Wow, awful…
“USA Today – Harper”
Connor Barwin – DE, Cincinnati
William Beatty – OT, Connecticut
And even worse…
“NFL Draft Specialist”
Travis Beckum – TE, Wisconsin
Sen’Derrick Marks – DT, Auburn
Who are these clowns?

The latter one is real bad, Beckum and Marks are not 1st round prospects.

Yeah that one was a head scratcher.
The mocks are more interesting this time around than last. There was a lot more consensus then.

Nice post though...
Any combo of Moreno, D. Brown, Ayers, Pettigrew, or Oher, and I’m happy.

definitely some random thoughts by these "specialists"...
Wells, Pettigrew, Moreno, maybe Cook….but Reid has again said that he might not be targeting an OL in the first round…..the question is, is if some of the better players that would fit a “need” position weren’t available by these picks, will they trade out or pick best player available?? Harvin would be good value by this part of the round, but he’s another quick slot-type receiver….not that it would be the end of the world to have Jackson and Harvin on the field at the same time (frickin’ track meet) but they really do need more of a “possession” receiver. Wells probably placed himself as the best RB in the draft with his workouts, although Moreno may end up being the better player…but if neither one of them are available, drafting D. Brown or McCoy is a reach in my opinion. they’re 2nd rounders. if they really want an RB and can’t get Wells or Moreno, should possibly trade one of the picks and either move back a few spots or get a good player in return. but Pettigrew is a “Must pick” if he’s available. They really need a 2-way TE…Celek came up huge as a pass catcher, but he’s limited blocking. and who the hell put Andre Smith on there? um, no.

Donald Brown
A lot of people out there are saying he’s the best RB of this class. Check out this video…
Check out his “second gear” burst at the 2:26 mark. His style remind you of anyone?

…and try to ignore the odd choice of music to accompany the video.

Yeah
Pettigrew and a top RB would make me feel a lot better about this team heading into next year.
I know drafting for need is generally against the Eagles’ principles, but those are by far the two most glaring needs left … IMHO. I’d love to have them filled with first-round talents and then just draft depth the rest of the way.
Many have said there’s about 22 prospects with first-round grades though, so maybe a trade-back isn’t as out-of-the-question as it once seemed.
As long as the haul is decent.
I was surprised a couple TEs not named Pettigrew showed up in the mocks.

I’m not real interested in a 1st round WR, and rising stock means we’d have to take him there or trade down.
Also he apparently has some personality, prima donna character issues which I’d rather avoid

Donald Brown runs kinda funny lol. 2:26 mark was a good run but at 1:17 he couldn’t outrun the defense and and go all the way.

If we can land Pettigrew, Moreno, or Nicks I would love the first round.

I don't know how many mock drafts have had this occur ...
… we take Pettigrew at 21 and have our choice of Moreno, Donald Brown or Wells at 28.
