With the 28th pick overall...
Hey BGN, Broncos fan here asking for your help. The gang over at MHR is doing a mock draft and I was slotted to make your 28th overall pick (I live in PA and my son's an Eagles fan so go easy on me). I was hoping you could provide some insight as to who the Eagles may select with this pick, or who you think the Eagles should pick. Being that this is your second pick in the first round, a lot depends on who you grab at #21, but a quick survey of some mock drafts seems to indicate that taking OT is the wise move here. Thoughts appreciated!

OT, RB, TE are what i think could be addressed. our line actually looks ok after some shuffling because half our line plays at least two positions. still possible we go for one in the draft though. pettigrew and moreno have been big names on this board lately (knowshown being the big one) if they’re available.

Yeah I would say Pettigrew is more likely at 28th pick than Knowshon.

i actually think he could fall this far.

No shot...
He’d have to get past Philly at 21 to get to Philly at 28.

crazier things have happened.
no one thought brady quinn would go as far down the ladder as he did. the draft is an unpredictable creature. that being said….you’re probably right. i’m not sold on them going running back first.

Is Pettigrew really worth your 1st round pick?
Seems to me that Brent Celek is a serviceable TE for you guys…. Pettigrew will be tempting to pass on because of his upside, but I was thinking William Moore (FS) or Hakeem Nicks (WR) could be a surprise pick at #28.
Beware the wrath of a patient adversary.

1st
round pick on a TE is a bit much, the guys good but he doesnt look like an elite player. id rather hope for a trade for Gonzo or just select one of the other TE’s a little later in the draft.
"Eagles fans are a passionate group who love their team," said McNabb, "if not the actual players. It's not like winning a Super Bowl before the first month of the season is the hardest thing they've ever asked of me. That'd be all those times they asked me to go kill myself."

Celek is a player ...
… but he’s really the only useful TE at this point.
Don’t listen to ESPN, we have quality at WR. These guys are right, RB, TE and OL, in that order.
Still waiting for the Eagles to Bring It Home For Jerome

Are you a Broncos fan because you live in Denver, Pennsylvania??
Anyone with a Bender avatar is ok in my book. Futurama is the shizz.
Would Max Unger at the 28th spot surprise anyone? He’s versatile and they may be comfortable with Herremans, Shawn Andrews, and/or Stacy Andrews as their tackles, yet feel a need to upgrade the o-line in the draft.
