Glad We Caught The Sham When We Did...
"Ray (Lewis) spoke for all of us when he said, 'If you don't play less, you don't take less (money),'" Houshmandzadeh said. "I'm nervous about leaving Cincinnati. It will be a huge adjustment, like being a rookie all over again. Moving, getting to know everyone, learning a new team, new players, new coaches, new system -- I can see why guys would take less to stay. But if I have to make a choice between the best team and the best money? I'm not stupid, man. I'll take the money."

Unlike me in my job...
where I have repeatedly turned down offers for millions so I can demonstrate my loyalty to the company who will, when I cease to be useful, cut me and set me loose like so much flotsam. I feel very righteous in my choices.

If this doesn't hammer my point I have been making the past two weeks
About players JUST going after the money, I don’t know what else will.
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
except Randy
Moss turned down more money from the eagles last year to stay with the Pats.

he invested....
thought that the short term money would pale in comparison to the long term money. Winning a SB locks in long term endorsements and guaranteed $!

That's easy to say never having really played for a good team.
Cincy had one strong season while he was there. He doesn’t know what it means to be really successful or loved and how that might affect a decision. As royboy just pointed out, Randy Moss accepted less to stay in NE. Trotter accepted less several years ago to stay with us. It’s not unprecedented.
We can end this thread now!
ESPN reports TJ just signed with Seattle
i don't want him
this dude just seems like a punk. the fact that his agent lied to eagles the way he did demonstrates poor character. good luck with the seahawks… where wide receivers go to die.
+1
with him keepin quiet in Cincy with all the OchoCinco shit i thought he might of been a class act guy but with all these reports of him and him lovin the money i really have grown a dislike for him
