What we need to do to win a super bowl

It's simple. This is all we need to do. Nothing complicated. Nothing that takes to much thought. This is what it is.

When Mcnabb had (TO) a true #1 we got to the super bowl.

Get another #1 and maybe we will win it this time.

Easy as that.

Boldin! If we get him, we could win it all.

E-A-G-L-E-S

If we can get to the NFC championship with out a #1 WR. Think of what we can do with one.

SHUT UP!!!

Boldin will not be an Eagle.
We will not draft a WR in the 1st round.
Our top Four needs are…… The top three are musts!!!

RB
OT
TE
Safety

You get those, and we win a SuperBowl!!!

I don't see how OT is any more of a need than WR...

If you move Herremans or Andrews to LT, our OL will need depth but in no way do I think that wins us a Super Bowl…

And based on Andy’s interview with Spadaro, I don’t think they’re looking for a Safety, unless again its for depth (but i think they got that already through FA), they think Demps is the guy, IMHO…

we did learn

and thats why the smart eagles fans know we have 2 yrs maybe 3 to get our ring…. we need a breakout wr to help out with mcnabb among other things..

Bottom line is mcnabb can take us all the way with par recievers with everything going our way, but we need a gamebreaker at wr to put us at the top.

???? And this is true because ……..

but we need a gamebreaker at wr to put us at the top

You guarantee this?

How did you come to this conclusion?

Because of the contributions that TO made during the 04 playoff push! He alone was the driving force that finally got us to the Super Bowl after our failed attempts. Now, if only he had played in the Super Bowl, we could have thrown to him the entire game and won that as well. Right?

Cheerleaders

I think T.O. playing the super bowl was the reason we lost. We all saw that in San Fran T.O. had some brief cheerleading experience. Maybe if he just sat on the bench and cheered us in the super bowl we would have won. Therefore, we need to either bring in a star WR to cheerlead (like T.O.) or get someone else who eventually became suicidal and is high a profile clown (T.O….or Owen Wilson)

Wow! I can’t believe no one thought of this before now! Now we can finally win a Super Bowl!

by Walcott on Mar 19, 2009 8:24 PM EDT reply actions

Why do we do this over and over?

How many playoff games did TO play in that year? Zero. How many did we win? All of them.

Did TO play in the Super Bowl? Yup. Did we win that game? Nope. So why would simply adding a “#1” WR change everything, when obviously it didn’t the first time?

Please explain your logic.

WOW!

amazing, this guy is a genius! why hasnt our stupid front office thought of this! of course, we need a wide reciever. A solid Go to Guy, that can cheer from the sidelines while we go through the playoffs without him to the Super Bowl. JUST LIKE TO!!! wyatts, you have got to work for the Eagles man!

Look at his profile. I think he’s legitimately less than 13 years old.

Desean Jackson

McNabb doesn’t NEED a number one receiver. It would be nice to have one but it isn’t nearly their biggest issue.

One thing people forget is tha Desean t Jackson was a rookie last year. He had an amazing season for a rookie. If you look at a lot of the “number one receivers”, most of their rookie years were less productive than Jackson’s. I’m not saying he’s the next Steve Smith, but it’s not out of the question. He has just as good of a chance of being an elite WR as just about anyone. WR’s are pretty unpredictable. They can stop become less productive at anytime, that goes for anyone from Desean to Boldin to Larry Fitzgerald.

hahahaha

very nice…

"Eagles fans are a passionate group who love their team," said McNabb, "if not the actual players. It's not like winning a Super Bowl before the first month of the season is the hardest thing they've ever asked of me. That'd be all those times they asked me to go kill myself."
