so, i was just watching the video of him on the eagles web site and was wondering if he fell to us at 21 or 28 would he be the kind of weapon McNabb wants. is he a good fit for the eagles offense? he's not the big possession WR that we're all clamoring for but he's a hell of a play maker. he reminds me of DeSean a bit, maybe a little tougher of a runner. he can also play RB and the slot. i dunno... i just loved watching him and think he's gonna be a big time play maker somewhere.
i'm with JasonB and think the eagles wont be drafting an OT in round one. i think they'll move either Andrews or Herremans outside and put MJG in at guard. if Pettigrew is gone by 21 should the birds pick up Knowshown and then pick the best WR at 28? if Percy is there i take him over Kenny Brit or Hayward-Bay b/c of his big play ability. i don't care about WR size. i don't care if he's too similar to DeSean either. the dude can flat out play in the open feild like a superstar.
with RB and WR addressed in round 1, hopefully a decent TE would still be on the board at 53. maybe the birds could package something together to move up in round 2. i like Jared Cook, who is faster and more athletic than Pettigrew, just not as good a blocker.
i think getting those three would be a huge upgrade to the offense. it would just add so much speed to the field it would be deadly. what do you guys think?
