Decent Kevin Kolb Piece
It's nice to know where the guy's head is at.
I like him more after reading this.
Based on what they've seen so far, plenty of people have grown skeptical about Kolb's ability. Kolb understands, and knows he can't change any minds without getting another chance.
"That's what they've seen," Kolb said when asked about the perception that he might be a busted draft pick. "If I introduce myself to an individual and he acts like a fool, I think he's a fool. But I've only known him for three minutes. I can't blame the fans for that. I just have to look forward to the next time I get a chance to prove myself."

Eagles' Kolb Awaits Another Chance
I think this was spot-on too (sorry I'm spoiling all the good stuff):
"As an NFL player, you have to do that. You have to look at how fortunate you are in what you're doing, but at the same time not lose your drive and ambition. I'm trying to balance those two things."

He has said all the right things in the media so far
Especially since he doesn’t have a very high fan approval rating.
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
Give the guys some props, He handles it well,
Five or Cutler would have been blowing their tops by this time.

Kevin Kolb
I have no problem with him being the back up QB , very few quaterbacks become starters in the NFL as soon as their drafted , there are of course a few exceptions, but not very likely , hell look at that one dude from the packers whats his name arron rodgers , he sat a while not sure how long ? 2 or 3 years iam guessing – not to be off subject but if arron rodgers ever gets caught using steriods will they call him a-rod , ha ha BGN humor at its finest – ok maybe not ,
question -how long is feeley under contract ? just wondering – i also have no problem with him being QB # 3
When I look at this team, I still don't feel as though we are very far away, we still have to work hard and do the things we are capable of, but we do have the chance to get back and come back strong." -Brian Westbrook-
Sounds like he has the right attitude
I have no problem with him being the #2 QB. I’d be apprehensive if McNabb went down for an extended period of time but by the same token I wouldn’t say the season is over just yet, either.
The truth is that nobody knows how he will be as our #1 QB until he plays there for an extended period of time.
I really do like Kolb and hope he has a shot in the preseason to play with the ones.
The guy really hasn’t played all that bad so far. Lets review that Baltimore game, remember, he did drive the ball down to the one yard line. That was a bad play call to throw that out in the back of the endzone 1 yard away. It was a bad call by Andy, granted the throw could have been better, but the play call put him in that situation. If Andy would have ran the ball in, it would have been something like 18 to 14 giving Kolb a bettter chance to win that game.
Lets be fair with Kolb, most of his interceptions were on passess that bounced off his receivers bodies. He did hit those players in stride and on the money. I think its a flow thing. The players need to get used to Kolbs velocity vs McNabbs. Its kinda of like swithing from a fastball pitcher to a knuckleballer, the catcher takes time to adjust.
I recall during the McNabb benching, Westbrook was really supportive of Kolb, and so were a bunch of other guys. The team believes in him.
Kolb still has a chance of being our future starter, he must practice with the ones and prepare to his opponent as a starter for us to judge him. It would be neglegent for us to base our judgement on a guy who only played 1/2 game vs Baltimore, then we forget how bad our starter looked in that game. Actually Kolb had less turn overs than McNabb and scored as much points as McNabb in that game. We can’t judge the 2 differently, lets be fair with Kolb and give him a fighters chance and EARNING his stripes.

I still don’t like the draft pick (If they extend McNabb, or if Kolb does not extend to become the long-term starter, it was a completely wasted high draft pick) but Kolb always seems to have the right attitude and good leadership qualities.
I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.
I hear you
But remember McNabb did not finish the two seasons prior to the draft. They drafted Kolb as insurance in case that trend with McNabb continued.
