Could Quintin Mikell be the answer and do a good job in place of dawkins ?
Mikell has been a productive defensive back and key special teams performer since 2003, when the Eagles originally signed him as a rookie free agent. During that time span, he has posted a team-leading 108 special teams tackles, including a career-high 35 in 2006. As such, Mikell has been voted by his teammates as the Eagles special teams MVP in 2005 and 2006.
On January 9th, 2009, Mikell was voted as a member of the 2008 NFL All-Pro Second-Team Defense

I still think Mikell should've been in the Pro Bowl last year
But hey, it’s just an opinion. And of course, the Pro Bowl is just an all star game that no one watches anyone, but hey…the guy had a heck of a season.

we need to get a true FS … Mikell is an awesome SS and I’d like him to stay there.
