Wide Receivers

Face it, guys. We don't need one. We've got two very good WRs in Curtis and Jackson. If we need a big, go-to, redzone target, we need a TE. We also need a running game. There's a reason we're way up there in passing yards. We're great at moving the ball between the 20s. Not so great in the redzone. The field gets smaller and moving the ball gets harder. We need to pump up our running game in order to create shorter 2nd and 3rd downs in the redzone and knock it in there. It's been our weakness the last two years. That's what will put this offense over the top. Not that I wouldn't take Boldin :D

I just think the Eagles are more likely to focus on our offensive line first and tight end second, and to pick up a runningback somewhere. Westbrook and Buckhalter are getting old, and even if they weren't, they can't be relied on to make it through a whole season injury-free.

Wouldn't say that...

I wouldn’t say “we don’t need one” because i don’t think jackson and curtis are “very good.” I think Curtis is decent and Jackson has the chance to become very good but not yet…I do agree that it shouldn’t be the main focus area of the offseason though unless a good opportunity presents itself (like Boldin)

i think we need a RB its looking a little shakey to me buck is a free agent . -probably wants more playing time and money since being healthy than in the past .-booker – sucks so far -westy -knee surgery rumor still will be ready i think – that leaves who at this point – free agent RB or draft RB ?? who knows it should be interesting to see what they do . Jon Runyan-Tra Thomas -Brian Dawkins – what positions will they make their main priority ?? …nead a kicker to, akers ?

Really

We had a ton of drops this year. There are three types of receivers in the league. Possession receivers, speed receivers, and those that do both. Our receivers are speed receivers. they cannot get off bump and run coverage. They also don’t make red zone plays. I also seem to remember that we had a lot of drops this year.

T.J. and Boldin are great possession receivers that would compliment our speed very well.

we don’t need a WR?

OUR RECEIVERS DISAPPEAR IN THE RED ZONE…

CAN’T GET OPEN CAN’T GET CAN’T GET OPEN.

Bring in someone who can get open where and when it counts.
