Hank Baskett and Kendra get a reality show

Hank Baskett's fiance, Kendra Wilkinson, has been given her own reality show on E! called "Kendra." Hank will reportedly also be a part of the show.
The 23-year-old model-actress is engaged to Philadelphia Eagles receiver Hank Baskett, who will also be featured on the eight-episode series. The blond bombshell will learn to juggle her newfound domestic and wedding-planning responsibilities with her usual fun and uninhibited lifestyle.
Here's hoping it all works out well for Hank, but I certainly have made pretty clear my feelings on these types of distractions.
That said, this is clearly her show... I have a feeling he won't be a big part.

I hate reality shows with a passion
It is a producer’s dream… cast untalented nobodies, pay them nothing, and rake in tons of dough from simple-minded people. I can cut Hank some slack because it is not HIS show, but the fact that he is marrying someone who wants to be part of that whole culture is a little upsetting. with that being said… I don’t blame him one bit. Shes smokin hot. However, you will not catch me watching a minute of this because of my fear that Hank WILL be in the spotlight a lot leading to my distaste for a receiver who i have loved and trusted.

Yeah…I agree with ajay. Probably not a huge deal, but I don’t especially like it.
I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.
i can’t see hank being a big part of this show. I’m sure that big red is already on his shit. If this even remotely turns into the hank baskett show, i’m sure hank will not be around much longer. the birds don’t fly with this shit
hes a FA rite???
To me the Eagles are like that girlfriend that pisses u off, then u hate her, but the next morning you wake up and remember that thing u love so much about her

It's not like Hank is some superstar.
He’s a third string WR … if this was McNabb or Westbrook or DJ I might be concerned. Personally I think Hank Baskett is garbage.
"I need to do a better job of putting players in the right position to perennially come up short of expectations"
The thing I worry about is once Suzy Rottencrotch has the cameras all around here again, she’ll be randomally showing up at practice, Novacare, ect. At that point, I’ll go postal.

Woah
That’s a little harsh: garbage? He had a pretty good year. He’s a terrific blocker, and for the first time in his career he actually played like he was 6’ 5". I think he’s got some potential and we should keep him around. He’s not a superstar, but he’s not garbage either.
for the first time in his career he actually played like he was 6’ 5"
When … when did he play like he was 6’5" … Hank Baskett is just a more liked Greg Lewis. He has a few big plays/catches a year and everyone loves him but what has he really done for this team.
Oh and Kevin Curtis caught a fade for a TD this year too …

this is true
Hank Baskett hasn’t shown me or the league anything worth hanging their hat on. Although, with girlfriends like that, I feel like I should have tried a little harder to be a mediocre talent.
Disagree
He hasn’t had many “big catches” in his career, but that’s not really why he is here. The Eagles don’t use him as that kind of receiver. They use him as a big body, a big blocker, and for important plays where big flashy superstar catches aren’t exactly what they need. A football team is like a toolbox. Some tools are always used and can fix almost anything. Hank Baskett is like an Allen wrench when you need to fix your bike because your car doesn’t work and you are late for a meeting.
My opinion is that he is an asset and certainly not garbage or “mediocre talent.”

whaaa?
I’ll agree with you on one thing … he is a tool.

guys calm down
this show is going to end up just like every other show on E! it’s going to get no hype, it will last 8 episodes, then everyone will forget it ever happened. I doubt this will be any kind of distraction. Hank isn’t a player to give up on. I think we’re all taking this a bit to seriously.
+1
Not really that big of deal and nowhere close to the circus that is the Dallas Cowboys.

now it could just be due to poor picture quality, but it looks to me like she’s wearing a screen printed replica jersey… look at the numbers… you’d think that he’d at least get her a real jersey

"Philly is a hot team now and they are playing well on defense, Donovan has managed the game well and I don't think there is any team out there ... I think they beat the only team out there that had a chance to beat them, and I don't think there is anybody out there that is going to beat them. I'm on their bandwagon and I'm picking Philly to win the whole thing." - Giants RB Brandon Jabobs
dud was on Preston and Steve yesterday, has some pretty great stories.
