Pissed off at Norman Braman.

I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.

Andrew, I get your point actually because I admit that I did feel betrayed by Reggie at the time.

But, I also know Jeff Lurie said he never would have let Reggie leave. Well, isn’t this kind of the same?

I reluctantly get the football logic behind letting him walk because of not wanting to make a two-year commitment or if they actually think Demps, draft pick, or FA signing will be better this year, but I still hate to see my favorite player leave. They had weeks to get this deal done before free agency started.

If the sticking point was money, I don’t get that at all. They’re way under the cap, and this seems like a pretty shallow FA market. Reward the man for time served and do everything you can to let him retire an Eagle.

I’m still guessing contract length was the sticking point.

pssed

Iwas young, like 9- but I remember how upset I got when my dad told me my favorite player was no longer an Eagle.
At the time I didnt understand the Free agency thing- I simply saw it as my hero leaving us. I now know the Eagles let him down and that will be a blemish on our city for a lkong time to come. arguably the greatest D-linmen in NFL history and we didnt fight to keep him here
We need to make up for it and keep Dawk

Seventy-one percent of the world is covered by water, the rest is covered by Brian Dawkins

I said yesterday that it felt the same…maybe worse. I hated to see Reggie go, but he did showboat with his free agent tour. Dawk is probably getting squeezed by the FO and is making his point with flirting with the Broncos. Mixed emotions about both. Its a business on both sides of the table I guess.
