Just remember that we root for the Philadelphia EAGLES, not the Philadelphia DAWKINS'.

If he feels that a few more dollars in his pocket are worth more than ending his career in the city it began, on the team that drafted him, and with the fans who paid him all that money to date, shame on him.

The Eagles made him an offer. If he really values everything this city has meant for him and done for him since 1996, let him sign it. If he thinks that the $32 million the Eagles have paid him to date is not enough that another $3 million won't do it ... well, to paraphrase Supertramp ... good bye greedball, its been nice, hope you find your paradise, you stinking greedy hypocrite.

I’ll only be at all angry at Dawk if I were to find that he never gave the Eagles a chance to match. That certainly won’t absolve the Eagles… but I’ll be disappointed if that were true.

And if he did and the Eagles let him go … that kind of fits their m.o., so I can believe it. By the same token, you can’t put a price on on-field leadership or locker room steadiness.

its not probably about the money. dawkins knows he is past his prime. its about respect man. how can you not offer that man a 2yrs contratct why much is prove himself year in and out. he has done some much signing him shoudl be automatic. if they eagles let him go my heart will stop. this absoloute bullsht.srry bout spelling really amped up with anger

RESPECT IS NOT GIVEN, IT IS EARNED.

Dawkins play over the past two years clearly hasn’t earned him the respect that his play from 1998 to 2006 did.

We’ve all sat around here criticizing his play and his slowing down. Now you guys are freaking out when he might go with someone who wants to shower him with too much money.
