seriously TJ?

If he signs with them he is fucking retarded. How could you go from a terrible team in cinncinatti to a team just as bad in seattle. Doesnt he understad with the players we have, we could win a superbowl.

by andyb on Feb 27, 2009 10:29 AM EST reply actions

Well… the Eagles would have to want him first and we don’t know that they do.

by JasonB on Feb 27, 2009 10:31 AM EST up reply actions

they better want him

How could you deny mcnabb a playmaker again? I know we need O lineman but we are not scary at all on offense. Our skill players are all mediocre. Westbrook is the only weapon and we cant rely on him to carry us. He is not going to have 150 yards every game. We need a strong passing game so when the run isnt working, Mcnabb wont have such a problem moving it down the field.

Get #5 a

fuckin weapon at wideout. I dont care if it is Boldin or Housh. Boldin would be prefered but Housh would be the smarter move

TJ wants to be in Philly

I think his comments about where he might be going are o so subtly hinting he wants to be in PHilly

TJ wants to be wherever he’ll get paid… make no mistake about that… don’t you remember his self promotion tour and his laughable praise of Rex Grossman

"I tried to run him over but Eli had his big boy pads on and he kind of stopped me from getting in the end zone. The next time I’ll try to jump over his head.’’ - Asante Samuel

Yeah i think he’s after the money. He is going to waste his time in seattle though. They dont even have a qb. We have an all pro qb and a stack of money to throw his way. You know how i know your gay? Your visiting seattle.

Wow, that headline had me a disappointed

After reading the rest, I’m only a little worried…Seattle is in a bad position WR-wise.

Say TJ does decide to turn gay and not sign with the Eagles, do you guys think we will draft a WR?

by Eaglesfan10 on Feb 27, 2009 10:47 AM EST reply actions

no.

We have a chance to get Holt, which would help the team out for a year or two. He still deserves the double team. Also, ESPN has reported that the Cards might be swayed with a first and a third, something the Eagles have and can give up.

that would be great, I would rather have Boldin anyways!

by Eaglesfan10 on Feb 27, 2009 10:52 AM EST up reply actions

remember

will the Eagles offer it though? Thats the question, not if the Cards will accept

I hope so, I think that we need to get either TJ or Q I would prefer Q tho… I don’t really know what the “plan” is for the draft but I’m sure they could rearrange it a little to get him…

I’m most worried about Dawk right now

Am I the only one that thinks everyone is in love with the IDEA of TJ Houshmanzadeh and not necessarily the REALITY?

I don’t see TJH as a true #1 WR everyone is pining for. Simple fact is he just happens to be the best available in an off year for WR’s.

If the Eagles would sign him – it’d only be a matter of time before people start whining about the Eagles signing ANOTHER #2 WR to the roster. I hate to knock his talent but I’d be inclined to say Reggie Brown in Cincy would yield TJH stats.

TJH doesn’t bring the YAC ability to the table and he’s not a big red zone threat.

Bad fit for the Eagles. Look elsewhere.

you dont understand

Its not the point we need a “#1 WR” we dont…its not what our offense is about..but when you add a player like a TJ or Boldin..they wont have #1 WR numbers but it will open up our entrie offense and make everything that much easier getting westy Djax and curtis with a lot more one on ones

If we don't sign Housh and don't/can't trade for Boldin....

I say we draft Hakeem Nicks with one of our 1st rd picks. Signing Stacey Andrews and possibly going after more O-line FAs (ie Jason Brown) makes O-line less of a need in the draft, opening up the possibility to address playmaker positions early in the draft. Nicks has been compared to Boldin (6-2 215) and he projects as a possession receiver with YAC capability. Eagles prob wont do it, but there is a strong case for such a move…

Boldin is a different story

Boldin is physical, YAC guy that would do tremendous things for us.

Browns might be shopping Edwards too it seems. He has size that would also help us.

Boldin

I cant believe this… Mcnabb has finally spoken out and ask for more weapons and eagles are gonna let Housh go this is soo typical FO… If House goes somewhere else we better be trading 1st and 3rd for boldin
