TE: Cornelius Ingram
If we go OL and RB in the first round and TE is shelved until later in the draft, obviously Pettigrew will be gone. I've been watching the TEs at the combine and Pettigrew is the only outstanding blocker. Out of everyone else, Ingram has some great upside.

Brandon Pettigrew/TE/Oklahoma State: Pettigrew’s day paralleled that of Monroe and Oher; he tested poorly but practiced well. Pettigrew was unable to crack the 4.8-second barrier in the 40, even though he requested then received a third opportunity to run. He completed just 22 reps on the bench — a poor number for a 260-pound tight end. Pettigrew did catch the ball well and practiced much faster than he timed in the 40. More impressively, besides running the 40 three times he took extra reps on the field when he thought he had not properly completed specific drills. In the end he looked like a good football player.

I hope he drops to our picks. Has there ever been a player who was bad in the combine but has played awesome in the NFL? I think Roethislberger was like that.

Lots …
I watched the combine and while I have not really been a supporter of Pettigrew he actually impressed me.
First, he didn’t do well in the bench or 40 but in the blocking and catching he looked good and looked fast and strong. He asked for more reps and extra opportunities which shows me that he wants to prove himself and improve and feels he is better. I liked his attitude he would walk over and talk to whoever was running the drill ask questions a lot of the other guys just went through the routines.

I watched pettigrew do the catch drill this weekend and he had very good hands. Kept the ball away from his body and caught it softly. Don’t think he can be more than an underneath threat though, def not a Jason Witten.
I do not think the TE class is that strong, I would rather Andy use our first elsewhere.
