Lancaster News and the Eagles
Is anyone out there an avid supporter of the Eagles but also a resident of Lancaster County in Pennsylvania? Well, this brief article is certainly no intriguing one that will deliver br
eaking news or anything of that matter, but I figured I might as well point out that the discussion I had with the Birds’ former WR Jordan Norwood–who played last week but was released the following day because of roster unavailability–will be featured in one of the upcoming Lancaster New Era/Intelligencer Journal newspapers. In addition to this, the Lititz Record Express newspaper will be hosting me as a guest in this week’s Thursday Evening Quarterbacksection, a segment that includes predictions for several upcoming high school, college, and NFL football matchups (Don’t worry, I didn’t hesitate in selecting the Eagles over the Giants).
So, I simply wanted to notify any of you who reside within Lancaster County that will have a chance to witness this release of a few Eagles-related things in some of the newspapers. Go Eagles!

No.
What you actually wanted to do was engage is some ludicrously self-aggrandizing behavior, and announce that you were getting published and being quoted by a paper in a football discussion.
You’re excited about your exposure. Good. You should be. Congratulations. But come straight out and tell us that, so we can be excited with you and for you.
Don’t try to disguise it as a heads-up for “Eagles-related things.”

I feel the same way
The Eagles marketing department isn’t hurting so it isn’t like they need exposure or anything.
KingMcNabb…congrats! Seriously. You want to get into sports journalism and you’re doing it. You’re working hard, you’re writing all the time, and you’re putting up with shit from people like us who are hard to impress….
Don’t sell yourself short kid…you get a minute in the spotlight, and you worked hard for it…
I’d like to see you rewrite the post with a pair of balls and say something to the effect of:
“Look, I got an interview with a player, and it’s being published! This is awesome for me! If you any of you guys are in the Lancaster area and have access to their papers I’d love it for you to check it out! Thanks for the support and Go Eagles!”
"What did it feel like? That collision, I didn't feel nothing, because he was pretty much defenseless. It was like running through a cardboard box. Seriously. Cardboard box."- Sheldon Brown on his pounding of Reggie Bush in the '06 Playoffs
Quick! Everybody email their Lancaster relatives...

WHOA!
I, also, am from Lancaster, born and raised… and it’s not all Amish buggies and farmland.
The Eagles are the first team in NFL history to have a running back and a wide receiver with 500 yards apiece in the same season before their 22nd birthdays.
However..
I’m going to show my father, Nehemiah, and brother, Ezekiel, that picture…. I don’t think they’ll find the humor in it…

They'll be mad
that someone took their picture!
I kid I kid!

I look forward to checking you out
in the New Era.

Congrats!
