Successful Surgery for Hobbs

Successful Surgery For CB Hobbs

Hobbs is expected to make a full recovery and return to the field next season. Hobbs was placed on the Injured Reserve list by the Eagles on Nov. 11 after suffering a neck injury three days earlier in a Sunday night game vs. Dallas.

This is awesome news neck injuries are serious business so to hear that they believe he can eventually play again is fantastic news.  Not everyone is a fan of Hobbs as a corner, but he did well (save for NO game) as a returner.  Regardless of play I'd never want someones career to end from an injury.

He will be a RFA after this season (assuming no new CBA) I'm not sure how likely it is that we retain him but I wish him a speedy recovery either way.

Glad he can play again, wishing him a speedy recovery.

Yea, not sure if we’re going to keep him on the team, but good news that he’ll be back.

Depends on the price

The Eagles will do what they usually do. We’ll put a price on the guy and if another team goes over it we’ll let him go.

He’d be a #3-4 CB for us, where other teams would probably want him as a #2 (if he fully recovers). So its likely he’ll find more money elsewhere.

Glad he's ok

but please dont offer him a pity contract, he’s not a good corner.

My "t" and "y" buttons are messed up so don't bitch at me about misspelling, I'm just saying.

he's a decent returner though

I’ll give him that much.

But I agree with you

I say we sign him for the veterans minimum

and keep him as a last resort at CB.. Although he did do decent right before he got hurt.. But we keep him as a KR.. Look at whats happened since he’s been gone. We were getting the ball in much better field position with Hobbs back there.

thats Cobb on Kolb crime if you ask me... as said by yophillybro
