Jackson and Jordan Out
Its official that Jackson and Jordan are out. I'm sure we all could of guess Jackson would be out but with Jordan's participation in practice this week - I had strong hopes he would be back in this week vs. the Falcons.
Also - If you guys haven't seen the cartoon of the week on the Eagles website you have to check it out. Its hilarious! I dont know if they are referencing McCoy and Maclins age but they have them as two little babies with baby voices singing.
Hilarious.

Huge loss. I was really hoping we didn’t have to rely on any other LB’s to cover Tony Gonzalez. Gonzo could have a mammoth game this week.
Yeah I was really hoping Akeem would be back this week with his practicing but unforunately thats not the case. Just picture us if we wouldn’t of made a trade with the Rams and got Spoon… Scary.

Reggie freakn Brown…who LOST his starting role to Djax, a rookie at the time! I know he was injured. But usually when “Good” players get injured, they come back and regain their starting role! Nope not Reggie Brown. And when Curtis went down, everyone (meaning “experts and football junkies”) and their moms thought that Reggie would start while Curtis was out! Nope..why, cuz Maclin was better than Reggie. Another ROOKIE! And Maclin missed at least 12 days of training camp hahaha! How many 100 yard games have Reggie put up?! Refresh my memory. Foreal though. “Reggie is better than desean” is good laugh! I appreciate ur sense of humor bcuz I KNOW u have to be joking. Thanx for the laugh haha…..

if reggie brown doesnt do well in his 2nd season we don’t make the playoffs that year. Reggie has talent, he just has to find a niche, Desean is out of this world, Maclin has done well and Avant, well if anyone was the slot reciever instead of him, someone would probably getting death threats. Reggie can do this. I think number 2 fits him and I believe he’ll have something like 4 catches for 65 or something. Don’t shit on the guy, if he does poorly I’ll post a whole thing on how I’m wrong.

Don’t even bother posting! Cuz it wont matter. In football, a Player could have a good game one week and be invisible the following week or two! Besides, the Falcons defense is nuttn to write about. I want Reggie to succeed, becuz he plays for my team. I didnt say Reggie down right stinks! I was talkn about the guy above saying “Reggie is better than Desean”. That’s just ludacris. The coaches didn’t even trust him to start opposite Djax when Curtis went down this season.!!!! I but I DO want Reggie to move forward. It only helps us.

I just think too many people shit on the guy. Its not like he’s Todd Pinkston, James Thrash or even Freddie Mitchell. And yes I bring up stuff from the past because if the guy doesn’t get thrown to what can we say. I think he’s good player…

On a struggling team…Reggie would be a good #2 guy. He just needs to play at a high level more consistently! He will do a fine job fillin in til Djax comes back. He has to haha..this is his shining moment this season!! If he doesnt do a decent job..well……u kno! What did Reggie say, “Even a Rose can grow out a pile of BS!” I understood his frustration, but it has nuttn to do with BS. He’s simply not as talented or as consistent as Djax nor Maclin. Period. If he had showed consistent talent, he would’ve been starting. It’s as simple as that. J.Maclin bet him out and it is what it is. It’s not BS. Reggies contract is BS!!! Haha..But I digress..Honestly I hoping Brown has an outstanding game for the teams sake. I believe he can do it..Falcons D-fence aint very good

Reggie could pull if off.
He’s always had talent and I’ve seen him make some great catches. I’m not impressed with what he does after he catches the ball, but he doesn’t suck by any means.
I’m more concerned about Gonzo, just like everyone else. The main reason why I love Any Reid is that he adjusts so well to deficiencies from week to week. There are only two exceptions that recently come to mind. The first was how long he hung onto Reno Mahe and the ‘use anybody else’ experiment. The other is the fact that the birds have been so bad at stopping Tight Ends for so long. This linebacker lineup really has me depressed. It isn’t Andy’s fault, but it’s gonna be everybody’s problem.
I think I’ll change my handle, too. How does “Elmer is Better than Buggs” sound?
Can We Please Get Healthy.........
Our D needs Time to Gel and improve…..but with all these revolving pieces its hard…..Im Less worried about Djax…….even though he is our biggest playmaker as the line improves the runing game is getting better and Andy is calling a more balanced gm…..I think we can get away with using reggie for a wk or 2….I mean if mcnab can make it work with pinkston and thrash and mitchell well be cool with maclin reggie and avant.

I STILL can’t believe that Reid tried to convince EVERYONE that in Pinkston and Thrash, “we are good at the receiver position”! LOL. Look at us know. This is all I was askin for. To give McNabb real talent around him at the Receiver position! Finally! But why did it take Reid so long to give Dmac more weapons..and not only Dmac, but us as Fans of the Eagles!! The ones that Bleedgreen day in and day out. This took wayyyy too long. Im not sayin Talent grows on trees. But he stuck with Pinkston and Thrash for soo long. No excuse for that. Well Djax and Jmac, Avant……gotta love this now

is not a huge Eagles fan, but she did point out something to me the other day:

That's my thing...
I know sometimes Football is about Matchups…but to send Djax across the middle is not very wise. Especially when we are kinda thin at WR right now. Some say well Wes Welker goes across the middle and he’s small. Yep, but SLOT is his position and has been his position for many years. Wes W. knows how to play the middle and work the spaces. He knows how to, key words here, AVOID or MINIMIZE collision impact/punishment! Wes Welker is also not the Patriots #1 Receiver. If Djax was our slot guy, then I would be fine with it. Not wise right now to ask him to do that. This late in the season with a thin wr corps. When or if..Big IF, Curtis comes back, let Curtis do that. He used to play that position! And if he goes down again…it won’t impact us nearly as much as Djax getting injured. Our punt returner and #1 WR
