Maclin & McCoy come up short in Rookie of the Month balloting

It was announced today that Vikings' WR Percy Harvin was named NFL offensive rookie of the month and deservingly so. He had a big month.

Among the finalists for the award this month were the Eagles first and second round picks. 

Philadelphia wide receiver JEREMY MACLIN (first round, Missouri), who had 24 catches for 294 yards and two touchdowns

  Philadelphia running back LESEAN MCCOY (second round, Pittsburgh), who rushed for 316 yards (4.9 average) and two touchdowns and had 14 receptions for 114 yards.

They are both really good players but as long as they are playing together they will probably always take votes from each other…….

Come on Mac, step it up. We can’t have that ganja smoker be the offensive rookie of the year. I want to see a 100 yard game this Sunday without Desean.
