Andy Reid Coach of the year?
After some recent discussion at work. I was wondering if Big Red should be considered for Coach of the year, if not, the down right favorite!!
To start the season he loses possibly the best defensive coordinator in the entire NFL. Not to mention Brian Dawkins. Soon to be followed by the Stewart Bradley Injury. He also dealt with the departure of both starting tackles with John Runyan and William Thomas. Then he brings in a contraversial Micheal Vick and deals with the commotion around that situation. The Andrews project turns out to be a complete failure. McNabb and Westbrook miss time this year. We lose Hobbs for the season and Hanson for four games. Sticking with the H's Herramans misses a few games. All and all we are 11-4 with a possible shot of a first round bye. With that being said does Andy the chest bumping Reid deserve Coach of the Year? If not, who eles will get some serious consideration. p.s. I hate Sav Rocca!

He will def be in the running
but with guys like Jim Caldwell, replacing Dungy and going 14-0, and Marvin Lewis having an absolute turnaround wih the Bengals i dont see him having the fire power to be a Coach of the Year winner. Definitly a contender tho
To me the Eagles are like that girlfriend that pisses u off, then u hate her, but the next morning you wake up and remember that thing u love so much about her

Caldwell?
The Colts would go 12-4 with no head coach and the players just following their routine.
i give him points for replacing Dungy

ALSO
Also forgot to mention the amazing development and production from our young talent! Boom
Don't forget
That Reid handled the death of his long-time and beloved Defensive Coordinator, among the three best in the modern era.
Still miss ya JJ.
Let the beasting begin.

Caldwell doesnt coach that team

Lmao
Caldwell = Phil Jackson. When you have that kind of talent on your team…I mean, c’mon man.
If anyone deserves that award, it has to be Marvin Lewis. But, I do believe Andy deserves it, too.

Manning is really the HC
He is the asserted “Leader” of the Colts.

Sean Peyton, Norv Turner and Jim Caldwell are all deserving.
Andy has been successful for most of his career people expect it, I don’t think anyone thought the Saints or Colts would do what they have (even if I do think the Saints are over rated and the Colts were lucky more than 4 times) …
Norv Turner is in the same boat as Andy they’ve been successful and are doing it again I think either one of them could get it. But you’ll see it go to Caldwell or Peyton.

Good point
i would just give it to Reid over the others on what he has overcome to be at 11-4 has Norv or Caldwell had any major obstacles you can think of.
i would just give it to Andy Reid because i am biased and want an Eagle to win every award.

Sean Peyton?
reconsider that one. his team has died after a hot start. I wouldn’t mind the eagles playing them right now and I bet you it wouldn’t be anything like our first game with them
"Why do you step onto the field...? I don't believe in pressure. I don't believe in what may be said on the outside. Why do I step out onto the field? To Prove That I Am The Best!"

doesn’t change the fact that they are the number 1 ranked offense and are 13-2 … don’t get me wrong I think the Saints are severely over rated but you can’t deny Sean Payton is a good fucking coach. Let’s remember the Saints were 8-8 last year and no one was worried about them.

Finally
I been saying hes a great coach all along and Ive been killed for it.. I should scorn half of you for agreeing
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
Don't worry Joe.
I’m not about to agree with you on this anytime soon.
Merry Christmas.

BLAH BLAH BLAH THE EAGLES COULD BE UNDEFEETED IF WE DIDN’T HAVE THE FAT RETARD COACHING THE TEAM AND MCNABB UNDER CENTER AND JOE BANNER CALLING THE SHOTS IN THE FRONT OFFICE DUHR

I am the people's troll :3™
You are a goddamn idiot.
And Reid sucks.
Take that.

Not a chance...
I’m a fan of Reid’s, but I don’t think he’s even a realistic contender here.
The award (rightly or wrongly) is always based on teams that exceeded expectations. The Eagles (you may recall) went to the conference championship last year and were widely considered contenders to go at least that far this year. Making the playoffs but probably not getting a first round bye…nothing wrong with that, but not going to overwhelm the voters.
Coaches of Cincinnati, New Orleans, and San Diego are all more likely to win, IMO.
we were expected to go that far without all the injuries we accrued… if someone told these psychic playoff readers that we would miss bradley, mcnabb, westbrook and half our team due to injuries, they probably would of said we didn’t make it to the play offs.

Should be considered
If you told me our DC would pass away, we would lose Dawkins to FA, Westy would miss half the season, we would be starting rookies at WR & RB, we would lose our MLB to injury and our o-line would be rotating the whole year; and our record would be 11-4; I would say no way. I hope he gets considered for it, he as done a heck of a job this year.
When do they announce HC of the Year?
My "t" and "y" buttons are messed up so don't bitch at me about misspelling, I'm just saying.
