Trending Up/Trending Down...Week 16 Edition

Who's trending up or trending down following the Eagles' win over the Broncos? I offer my thoughts:

TRENDING UP

First Half Performance - Once again, we saw how great the Eagles are in the first half. The offense moved up and down the field with ease, and the defense completely shut down the Broncos' running game.

Jeremy Maclin - Mac only had a handfull of catches, but they were pretty big ones. I hate to say it, but if Maclin had not made that catch on the final drive, I don't think we would've gotten the first down.

Donovan McNabb - Specifically, his first half performance. All 3 TDs came in the first half. In the second half, he was hit-or-miss. However, he continues to show some grit with these last-minute drives.

Brian Dawkins - Read this: http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/id/9015/dawkins-stops-by-eagles-locker-room

TRENDING DOWN

Second Half Performance - I think it's been made clear that this is a first half team. Other than the Falcons game and maybe the Cheifs/Bucs games, it seems like the Eagles always slow down in the second half. We'll need to play a complete game if we want to make a deep playoff run.

Macho Harris - I'm on JIBTA's side with this one. I never want to see Macho return another kick. As much as I hate Demps, he is a good kick returner. If the Eagles hadn't recovered Macho's second fumble...

The O-Line - Jamal Jackson's injury stings. He was the one consistent lineman we've had all year. Even though we've patched up our line nicely throughout the year, I'm still a little worried heading into the postseason (and the Dallas game)
