Stacy Andrews: Are you worth the money?

So far, the answer to that question has been a resounding NO.  Andrews seems to have no confidence in his knee and has been awful at right guard this year. With Jamaal Jackson's injury, Andrews becomes very important.

I, for one, am not too worried about Nick Cole at the center position.  While he does lack experience, he will get chemistry with McNabb this week and is a good blocker.  I am very worried about the potential matchup between Max Jean-Gilles and Jay Ratliff.

Ratliff caused a lot of problems the last time the Eagles played the CowboysJason Peters went out, and as Todd Herremans was forced to slide out to left tackle, Jean-Gilles entered the game.  Saying Ratliff, who had two sacks and was constantly in the Philadelphia backfield, had a good game is an understatement.  McNabb had very little time to throw.

Jean-Gilles is not the answer.   Being successful in the playoffs will be very difficult if he is out starting left guard.  So it's time for Stacy Andrews to shine.

Last night, Albert Haynesworth, the Washington Redskins' prized free agent acquisition, had a huge game after being criticized all week.  People have called him a waste of money, but for one game at least, he was worth every penny.

Can Andrews pick it up and do the same thing?  If he can be the guard we expected him to be and give some stability to this line, it will go a long way toward the Eagles' championship hopes.
