Good game so far
Hope Jackson is OK but MJG seems to be playing well. Broncos are doing pretty good against our rushing attack — not so good against our pass.
They are desperately trying to rattle mcnabb and keep him in the pocket. He’s playing very calm and putting the ball in good spots. On an off day he would be happy feet throwing bad balls, what is it about this entire team and December football?

Hated to see the Giants get blown out
Because it is hard to believe they will show up and play that hard next week. They packed in during the 2nd half including just giving up trying to even tackle Stewart late in the 4th qtr. It was really a pathetic display.

Exactly. Broncos are having to use Dawkins like JJ did last year- put him up in the box on almost every play. He is still a very effective tackler but it is a real liability/places alot of other pressure on the rest of the secondary when you have a FS who can’t even cover a TE let alone a WR in coverage.

But who on this team has tackled well all season? I can’t think of a single guy. Only reason I am bit/worried about this team is their ability to stop a good/really good offense on the road. Plenty of turnovers but teams have also had their success moving the ball up/down the field against them, in short yardage situations, and getting into the end zone more than they had in previous seasons.
McNabb was 15 of 19 for 242 yards and 2 TDs in the first half… That’s against the 2nd best pass defense in the NFL.

Can’t almost ever play a consistently great game. He is going to make at least 1-2 boneheaded decisions (although usually not INTs) and go through a stretch where he is pretty inaccurate.

I think I realized how Brandon Marshall has over 100 catches. Every other play Denver calls is a screen pass to him.

Officials might not have made that call on the Harris PF but there was no helmet to helmet. Harris just came out at full speed and ran in a straight line not protecting the ball.
I never do
they make bad calls from time to time, but it’s never as bad as people make it out to be. And the way a team is trained to think is that no matter the calls, you have to play through it. Officials can hurt you, but they don’t beat you

I live on the Jerset shore, so for some fucking reason, I do not get CBS philly. Luckily, a neighbor has the dish, so I have been watching the game over there.

If the Eagles punt from their own 15, Broncos have a really short field and only needed a FG.

I think was 7/19 for about 60 yards and an INT (and nearly another one on that throw to Avant).
As great as McNabb was in the 1st half, he was equally as bad as in 2nd half. Just have to live with that though and hopes McNabb makes a play in the end like he did on that scramble today.

Should ride the pine the rest of the year. I really don’t want to see him on the field the rest of the year. He was brutal today with mistake after mistake and mistake.

Doesn’t make plays on the defense-side of the ball, is a general liability in coverage, and has been really poor on kickoff returns (makes me long for Mahe). He wouldn’t see another down on the field if Demps was healthy the rest of the year.
