brian westbrook retire

Brian Westbrook

Star-divide

I was jsut watching Mike and Mike on EPSN and they had John Clayton on the show.

They talked about how Brian Westbrook will play this week proably.

Then John Clayton said that this will be his last year that Westbrook will retire after this season due to the injuries he has suffered.

Just wondering if you guys think he will retire or not

Then if he will retire after this season, what should the Eagles do in the draft to improve if he really does retire?

Yes...

and please proofread before posting. We don’t want to read third-grade level stuff. This should also be in the FANSHOT section.

Not to be a dick but what is going on with all these newcomers all of a sudden posting trash on BGN? It seems in the past month, this place is crawling with them.

little too deep...

the title is a little deceiving but other than that who cares about spelling..we are all capable of reading misspelled words. I also dont see why people get crazy about fanshots and fanposts.

Misspelling just-jsut and probably-proably

Its legible. Now if it was really bad and didnt make any sense then crucify him…

Glad He is coming Back..........

Hope he even plays next year provided he doesnt have any more brain Injuries just because Id love to see him get a ring and I believe these next 2 yrs are our greatest chance to do so……….If he does retire GOTTA sign WEAVE draft another RB to Share carries with shady……….

He won't retire...

as long as he plays the rest of the season without having any setbacks. If he experiences anymore head problems this season, then there’s a very good chance that he retires.

The Eagles are the first team in NFL history to have a running back and a wide receiver with 500 yards apiece in the same season before their 22nd birthdays.

I dont think he will retire but I truely feel

that his reps are going to significantly drop, and we will most likely start playing him a bit more as a WR and spreading him around the formation just to get him into space…

As for looking in the draft I dont think we need to, maybe someone way late in there to just come in and be a “worst case scenerio” guy.. McCoy and Weaver are the dynamic duo in Philly.. Given we resign the Weave.

thats Cobb on Kolb crime if you ask me... as said by yophillybro

i dont listen 2 nuttin these jokers spit............

unless sumtin is official in stone or i hear ir from the mans mouth i wont beleive rumors. Also it doesnt make sense for West 2 retire just yet, if he comes back however and the unimaginable happens again then yeah he should consider hangin it up. But until that happens i dont beleive anything these clown ass fools on ESPN proclaim. Why the fuk is John Clayton even a football reporter???? Dude looks like a windy breeze would knock him over.

Weaver

Weaver is only 5 years into the league, I say we lock him up long-term.

i don’t think westy will retire after this year… he doesn’t want to. i think he’ll want to play a few more years as long as the eagles give him a job.

the last thing i would want to see is westbrook playing a backup role in another jersey. i hate watching these long-time eagles playing out their final years for another team (i.e. dawkins, runyan, tra thomas).
