Most hated eagles
The upcomping game, Dawks return, got me remembering how much I loved him. Which in turn made me think of all the trash I have hated through the years.
So I was curious what everyones most hated eagle is/was?
I have only been following the eagles avidly for about 5 years now, so my all time list is a little swayed toward the recent.
All Time:
- Lj Smith (Fuck you, enough said)
- Dehani Jones (Celebrating a tackle for a 9 yard gain?...with air guitar)
- Reggie Bown (You represent the spot that could have been Danny Amendola, thank you.)
- Mark Simeneau (Thanks for keeping the spot warm for trotter)
- Mike McMahon (I know he was a back up, but how the hell did he make it to the NFL, seriously?)
- TO (goes without saying)
Current Roster:
- Reggie Brown (look at you pulling double duty)
- Kevin Curtis (I once respected him, now I get angry when he is on the field)
- Chris Clemmons (no he hasnt done anything terrible, but can we have our money back please?)
- Chris Gocong (I know this one will raise some eyebrows, but I think this guy is useless, evident by the fact that he was not the starter this past week, I think Asante gets more tackles than this guy.)
Rising Stars: (Not quite the A-holes represented by the first two lists, but gaining the wrong kind of recognition)
- Quentin Demps (Up and down, had high hopes for this kid, but he has some of the dumbest penalties possible)
- Sean Jones (Cant tackle, kind of something a safety needs to do)
- King Dunlap (hard to put him up here, he was a 7th round pick, but dam...you suck)
- The brothers Andrews (I think most would already be fed up with these clowns, but when it comes to injuries I tend to give players the benefit of the doubt, Shawn had another surgery which atleast implies something else was wrong. I am waiting one more offseason to determine my hatred.)
I am sure I left many ealges off this list, so help me fill in the blanks. Who would be on your top hated list?

sean jones tackles better than demps or harris.

Jones
Has been missing a bunch of tackles the last few weeks and I wouldn’t say any of these guys has shown they are reliable tacklers with great consistency.

asante misses more, but his 8 ints kinda make up for it

i agree with the Jones deal he started great making open field tackles against the giants but now he is showing poor pursuit on tackles and is getting shed by running backs and receivers a lot more often. I’ve only seen Harris miss a couple tackles this season so far whenever he goes one on one with the opponent he tackles them. Andy Reid actually praises Harris for his sure-tackling ability. Demps is just awful he’s as bad as Asante in my opinion when it comes to tackling.

I disagree with the kevin curtis pick. The guy can produce at a high level. He may end up being a huge factor in the coming weeks with desean getting all of the attention.

What has Brown done that was so bad?
He’s our 4th WR. What kind of productin do you expect from a 4th string WR? The same thing could be said about GLew. He got blasted for not putting up big #s — he was our 5th freaking WR!!!
Aside from a few plays I like Jones. He’s been a better coverage guy than I expected. Give demps some time yet — he’s still pretty young.

The only reason brown is on the team is because of the big deal we gave him. I dont hate him specifically, I hate what he respresents. I would rather have Hank Baskett or Danny Amendola on the team then brown.

Brown's better than Baskett or Amendola
He’s not a bad receiver…he was just eclipsed by better guys. If Brown’s your 4th guy, you have a good receiving corps.
He’s not worth his contract, but we wouldn’t be down on him as a player if we weren’t paying him so much money.

Man, I was happy we drafted DJax, but when I saw we left Sweed on the board, I was kind of upset. I definately like Sweed more than Jackson, but he sucks badly.
That said, I would mind us taking him off of the Steelers hands, we will be short at WR next year with Curtis likely getting cut. I would only take Sweed if he gets cut, it would be a good project to take on.

The line has come along nicely, but the Andrews Sisters, playing at their potential, could turn up the gas on the running game, too.
I want big, fat holes for Christmas next year. Big, fat ones that even Lorenzo Booker could have run through with ease. We are talking galactic, blackholes here. Holes that anyone could get into easy – holes like Paris Hilton. Well maybe not that big. That’s quite hole.

What is the point of this list?
It is all over the place with no consistency or real reasoning behind. Ex-Eagles, current-Eagles, high-round picks, low-round pics, FA, offense, defense. Try narrowing it down a bit.
I would tend to focus on maybe a list of guys the Eagles drafted with higher draft round picks and turned out to be huge busts/losers due to personal reasons – my most recent favorite would probably be Jon Harris who was a complete bust and had the infamous incident where he tried to fight a fan at training camp at Lehigh who was really ragging on him getting killed in practice.

This is another guy with a nose for the ball, dude was lightning quick. But had a bad habit of not wrapping.
I don’t think he got cut because of ability, I think he had other problems as well. I didn’t hate him, we didn’t see enough of him to hate him. I think we had a bad attitute and off the field issues, and was gonna be a role player at most.
He was kinda like Fokou, just with a bad attitude.

Fokou is actually doing halfway decent..
aside from the penalties he’s done well.

Fucking McNabb
He thinks he’s cool and shit after outrunning a LB and stretching at the goal line for a score…
Douchebag.

Absolutely hated Mike McMahon
I had the pleasure of watching him play in the CFL for the Toronto Argos after the eagles booted him. If you aren’t a good QB in the NFL, there’s no chance you’ll be good in the CFL… it’s just the way it is… with the exception of Dave Dickinson

I thought McMahon was halfway decent..
but then again I was like 10-13ish when he was here, and when your that age everyone looks good lol.

He had a completion percentage of 45.4% with us. What else do you really need to know?
RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.

i remember going to a game v. the Packers
when he played here. it was the sloppiest game I’ve ever been at… but we won, although it was the only win in a long stretch

Oh Boy
Favorite eagles to hate:
James Trash (thanking god for every 5 yard reception)
Todd Stinkston (Reid really had no idea at WR for a good many years although I loved Antonio Freeman
JR Reed (He was so promising but by jumping a fence ruined his career….so frustrating)
CJ Gaddis (The second coming of BDAWK…..what a winner)
Reno Mahe (for taking up a roster spot)
Someone said Vick but he’s going to get us a good draft pick!!!
I still think Demps is going to be a playmaker just give him time!

Gaddis
the only highlight of him for me was turning him into a 99 player after 2 seasons in madden 08 (pc) franchise – but then again you could turn pretty much anyone in that game into 99 after 2-4 years if you really tried
