The Linc - McNabb's pro bowl prospects

Too bad McNabb is a longshot for Pro Bowl | Philadelphia Daily News | 12/17/2009
Donovan McNabb went to the Pro Bowl 5 years in a row, 2000-2004. The Eagles' quarterback hasn't been there since, and he almost certainly won't be among the initial invitees this season. But McNabb is compiling better numbers this year than he posted in any of those Pro Bowl seasons, except for the last one, the year he had Terrell Owens (77 catches, 1,200 yards, 14 touchdowns) and a young, healthy Brian Westbrook (73 catches, 703 yards, six TDs) to help him to the Super Bowl.

Eagles' high-powered offense draws comparisons to '04 Super Bowl team - pressofAtlanticCity.com : Sports
The Eagles enter Sunday's game against San Francisco averaging 28.6 points per game. That ranks third in the NFL behind New Orleans (35.4) and Minnesota (29.9). At their current pace, they would break the franchise record of 26 points per game set last season.

Ex-Cal star DeSean Jackson Mr. Big Play for Philadelphia Eagles - San Jose Mercury News
For all DeSean Jackson's amazing feats this season, none is more improbable than getting Andy Reid off the ground.

Awesome quote by Clark...
“You watch the [Philadelphia] Eagles, you watch the big plays. You watch things given up. And I started checking other media outlets. You don’t hear the things about them in their media that you hear about us. So either we’re held to a higher standard or the people that write about us are turds.”

He’s dead wrong, but you gotta appreciate his usage of the word “turd,” which quite frankly needs to make a comeback.

'04 was a different defense

To state the obvious, this year’s defense isn’t on the same level. That alone makes it hard to expect results like ‘04. But it’s not over yet and anything can happen in the playoffs so just get there.

Oh and Ryan Clark is just so wrong it hurts to look.

McNabb& Djax For Probowl.........

There maybe a few players @ there respective positions who are playing as well but noone is playing better. Heres to hoping that both make it and get the acknowledgement that deserve for there seasons!
