1 Extra SRO ticket for Broncos/Eagles
A buddy couldn't go with me, so I have an extra standing room ticket for Dawk's homecoming. It is an actual ticket, not an eTicket, so I'll have to get it in your hands either at the game or ahead of time. The sooner I sell the ticket, the cheaper it will be to move it, so let's hurry!
I'm just a normal 27 year old Eagles fan looking to unload a ticket to another fan interested in attending the game. I don't want a scalper to make money off this, and while I am not looking to make a killing, you should realize these tickets are selling for around $140 on Stubhub (plus their shipping/service fees). So I'm looking for something around that figure. A $75 offer won't cut it.
If anyone is interested, email me at jmfreese@gmail.com and we can talk about a price/how to get you the ticket. I live in Bucks County, but should be able to work something out if we need to meet up.

Just fucking win. (as said by LegendKnight22)
I’m going to agree with the mob here if you want to sell the ticket for face value to a true Eagles fan feel free to post this in the fanshots if you’re looking to make any money whatsoever then go to stubhub or razorgator we’ll find you.

This screams I’m trying to make money on this ticket. Also says your trying to avoid the fees so when you sell your ticket for $140 or whatever you actually get that and not less.

I guess i'm a hypocrit
cuz i just realized that i did the same thing last year with the thanksgiving day game with NorthPhillyKid
But i didnt charge anymore than i originally paid for the ticket.

Haha, fine!
You all win. No Eagles fan from BGN gets this ticket unless they buy it from a scalper the day of the game!
Sorry for trying to help someone out. It’s not like I can’t find someone somewhere to pay me for my extra, just thought an Eagles fan might want it. Not sure why everyone has such pessimistic views of my offer. I guess the internet has left you all jaded.
I would’ve probably just accepted an offer very similar to those criagslist posts if someone felt like sending out an email, especially if they were local. Just because I am listing the going rate doesn’t mean you had to offer that much. All I am trying to do is get fair market value for my product and more importantly, not take a loss on what was a X-mas gift for a friend.
FYI, all of you have forgotten an important part of negotiating- setting the price higher than you actually would like to receive in hopes that when you negotiate with a buyer and eventually meet half way, you are both happy with the final price. That’s how negotiating works. This is not a store where the price is set. We can talk about a fee.
But thank god BGN has all of you to protect people from lowly, scumy scammers like me /saracasm.
You're weird.

Would you take $50 for the ticket?
How is it that you don’t get the simple fact that you are trying to sell an item for a profit . . . to a fellow fan . . . on a fan website. Get outta here scumbag. If you want to sell for a profit, then go to craigslist or eBay and do that. This is a forum for fans. You are not ‘helping anyone out’. If anyone ever comes on BGN looking to make any sort of profit, this is the treatment they will get. If everyone in your situation posted their tickets for sale at a lesser profit than slightly more greedy people, this place would be littered with this bullshit.
haha, ok
glad all the BGN bouncers are out in force to prevent me from ripping off some clueless Eagles fan.
And just when me and the Grinch and Hitler were gonna invite you to our X-mas party…
Are you fucking serious???
your trying to rip us off, then you get pissed when we call you out…
Then you play the “I was just trying to help someone out” card… Then your trying to sell “your product” which basically means your trying rip off some poor person who doesnt know any better.
Oh and then you teach us how to “negotiate” because your obviously a master sales man.

I personally don't see the big deal

I WILL GIVE YOU 3 DOLLARS AND 50 CENTS

Well, of course he’s not gonna go away, Mary! You give him a dollar, he’s gonna assume you got more!

Seriously... The Loch Ness monster asking for $3.50 like a homeless guy... I don't throw the word genius around lightly, but is that not genius?
Ooh, it must’ve been about seven, eight years ago. Me and the little lady was out on this boat, you see, all alone at night, when all of a sudden this huge creature, this giant crustacean from the paleolithic era, comes out of the water.
We was so scared, Lord have mercy, I jumped up in the boat and I said “Thomas, what on earth is that creature?!”
It stood above us looking down with these big red eyes,-
Oh, it was so scary!
and I yelled. I said, “What do you want from us, monster?!” And the monster bent down and said, “…Uh I need about tree-fitty.”
What’s tree-fitty?
Three dollars and fifty cents.
Tree-fitty.
He wanted money?
That’s right. I said “I ain’t giving you no tree-fitty you goddamn Loch Ness monster! Get your own goddamn money!”
HAHAHA AWESOME
now i have that episode stuck in my head
How about face value for it?
I will but it from you face value, I kind of agree that selling it for 10x the mark up is hardly doing any of us a favor. We could just buy it straight from stub hub if we wanted to get raped on the price
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
Is it ok to sell tickets at face value on here?
Figure this out. I may also have 2 standing room only tickets. I’ve had 6 people say they can’t go. Still have some other options before I put it out on here. Would sell them at face value.

nothing wrong with selling tickets at face value to fellow fans make it a fanshot though please!
It’s just a dick move to come on here acting like your doing us a favor by offering us your tickets for above what you paid because you want to make a dollar.

Thanks
Good to know. I’d hate to see them go to waste. And you can’t give SRO tickets to non Eagle fans. They would be miserable.

This is exactly why people flood the phone lines the day tickets go on sale and people like me who call in at 10:01 can’t get a damn ticket. People buy the tickets for 60 bucks and sell them for 200. Its hot damn ridiculous.
In life, as in a football game, the principle to follow is: Hit the line hard.
-Theodore Roosevelt
no the main problem is that half the available tickets are sold to razorgator before they even go on sale to the public
I love the Eagles. But it is one of the things i do hate about the franchise
Dont Disrespect the Level
Id say fuck that... No way im paying an extra $140 to see a game with a few exceptions...
Thats way to much to pay for a $60 ticket… I’d let the person who was trying to make a profit lose the money he spent.

Done Defending Myself
Never meant for this to ignite such a response from BGN for selling 1 ticket at slightly above what I paid for it.
I bought 4 tickets for me and my dad and brothers to go to the game as an X-mas gift a few weeks ago at $70 per ticket plus shipping and fees. Now my brother can’t go, so I was looking to get rid of 1 SRO ticket without taking a hit on what I purchased.
Not sure how selling an actual physical ticket works on Stubhub or those types of sites, but there’s only 9 days left until the event (10 at the time of my post). I didn’t want the hassle of trying to get the tickets to Stubhub or pay money to ship them (if I didn’t have to).
I never said it would take $140 to get the ticket. I just wanted to alert the public as to the market value of the ticket they were making an offer on. I guess I never should have said $75 won’t cut it, but by naming any sort of price, I was trying to avoid tons of emails offering $55 and $60 for it when:
A) I paid more than that for the ticket myself
B) The cheapest you can find it on “reputable, safe” sites (not craigslist, though that’s an option) is $140
C) I don’t have to sell the ticket to anyone. I can always get money from a scalper on gameday
Now if my reasoning doesn’t make sense to you, then I’m sorry. But I am not trying to make money in an evil sense of the word. I was looking for what I paid plus, say $20 for beers at the game.
Expecting $95 for a ticket selling for $140 everywhere else on the internet (minus that one guy on craigslist) hardly makes me a scumbag, asshole, dick or any other names you’ve all called me. If I were just some scumbag trying to make a buck, I wouldn’t be defending myself. I’d just say “F-it” and hope someone emails me anyway, b/c what do I care if a bunch of posters on an internet forum think I’m a dick? But I do post here. I am not a dick (well, I try not to be). /defense
lol selling tickets on stubhub is very easy and costs you nothing that’s just you being lazy.
I never said it would take $140 to get the ticket.
Yes you did …
So I’m looking for something around that figure
Who gives a fuck what others are selling the tickets for you were acting like you were doing us a favor and you aren’t.

where did i say it?
if i said it, you should be able to scroll up to my original message and see where i wrote it. but you can’t. because i didn’t.
as for the lazy remark, you’re right. it is lazy. doesn’t change a thing. still my choice.
I quoted you … if you can’t read the quote then maybe you can’t figure stubhub out.

"looking for something around that figure"
is a very loose, ambiguous statement and in no way does it say “I want $140 for this ticket.” I never expected $140, if I did, I’d sell it on ebay or stubhub where all the other tickets would be priced above it.
words like “looking” (as in searching for) and “something” (as in some thing; a certain undetermined or unspecified thing) are very non-difinitive.
I never asked for $140. I am just trying to sell a ticket to an Eagles fan BELOW MARKET VALUE.
and while I am not looking to make a killing, you should realize these tickets are selling for around $140 on Stubhub (plus their shipping/service fees). So I’m looking for something around that figure. A $75 offer won’t cut it.
That’s pretty much indefensible proof you were trying to make money off your ticket.
I just wanted to alert the public as to the market value of the ticket they were making an offer on.
The value of anything is what people are willing to pay, not what the retailer is asking. The public’s demand for the ticket will alert you as to the market value of the ticket. It isn’t your responsibility to alert us to it’s value.

you guys and your conspiracy theories
