Maclin's Injury

According to Big Red after the game Maclin suffered a torn Planter Fascitis...Andy said it was a 1-2 week injury but I'm not sure about that timeframe...Danny Granger (Indiana Pacers) has the same injury and he is out 4-6 weeks...I know it is a different sport but it still seems like a significant injury...The offense looked great tonight without J-Mac but he will truly be missed if he is out for a long period of time...I can't imagine if the kid played against the Giants with the way Desean was playing...The big play threat of Maclin will be greatly missed and the kid is gonna be a monster...hopefully he has no setbacks and can come back for the playoffs...If anyone has any info on this injury please respond...Sorry If I didn't post right but I don't post often...Big win tonight!!!

Good post man, and thanks for the update

We should beat the 49ers and broncos without maclin, and hopefully we will have locked down the NFC east by then so we rest for the cowboys, but I doubt that.

hopefully maclin is healthy soon tho

That 44-6 eagles cowboys game on Dec. 29/2008 was the best game i've ever seen

Looks like Jordan Norwood could be making a reappearance if Curtis isn’t healthy by next week.

Curtis will be active next week. He was only listed as questionable this week in case Maclin or Jackson had a set back between Friday and Sunday. If they did have a set back, I think Curtis would’ve been active.

The Eagles are the first team in NFL history to have a running back and a wide receiver with 500 yards apiece in the same season before their 22nd birthdays.

dude i keep re-reading ur post and i really dont understand it..

Mr. Crayons,

Smitty may be referring to the fact that Mr. Curtis was already inactive at the beginning of the game. I beleive that Mr. Maclin was carted off during the game. Hence, Mr. Curtis could not be used as he had been declared inactive earlier and was …. not usable. It’s early AM now and I would be fine if someone had to correct me on this.

I beleive that Mr Smitty is saying that if Maclin’ injury was apparent before the game, Mr. Curtis could have/would have been declared active and he may have played.

Yours,
A very tired, very happy Iggy.

We will be fine.

I'm sorry but

Kevin Curtis sucks…he was awful at the beginning of the year…I would rather have Reggie play then Curtis…there is no comparison between how valuable Maclin is compared to Curtis…It’s miles in my opinion…Maclin has been awesome

Both will play.

I hate reading that.

A healthy KC is both speedy and very reliable. Soft hands, excellent sideline and first down awareness. Modest and unassuming. The question is, is he healthy. Saying KC sucks is unfair. It’s like saying Westy sucks after HIS injuries (but not to the same degree, of course.) I don’t know if KC can ever get healthy again, but the man does not suck.

You cannot compare what he did in 2007 with anything Reggie Brown has ever done. KC might never be what he was before and his career might be over, but show some respect for a true star, and warrior.

Will Curtis have his SPEED back though! That was is biggest threat

He had good hands..then started to lose focus maybe due to the injury! Not saying he stinks..but at this point in the season, relying on KC is a stretch. KC has to get into football shape and regain is lost speed! He’s 31..Its gonna take time for Curtis to get back “Healthy”.! We just need him to be solid! Like I said b4..im not a fan of Reggie Brown, but I have more faith in R.Brown due to the fact that at LEAST he is FULLY HEALTHY and can play FAST and hard! Respect is one thing but This is a “What have u done for me lately League” and everyone knows that! That’s why R.Brown lost his job in the first place. So..what has Curtis done for us lately!! Curtis knows this too. So I believe if he can go..he will go (play). He needs to show that he can still produce in this league. But will he have is SPEED and quickness back. That was his bread n butter! Becuz he’s not gonna “out muscle” a DB!! If he doesn’t have his speed back then…..!!

Well I was a fan

but in the beginning of the year….those great hands let us down a number of times…I was screaming for Maclin or Avant…both are better options IMO…sorry to say Curtis sucks but for the money he is making…he has not done much for this team…he had a couple big games and that was it…one was against Detroit which it seems anyone can do!

they will asperate it and take care of him for 2 weeks...

if im correct all it is, is griskle on the bottom of your foot that your really do not need, its like extra padding.. And I think that if they do sugery they just cut it and leave it be… So it looks like he just did what may have needed to be done naturally lol..

I hope he returns, I have loved watching him play. and yes Djax’s the fucking man.

thats Cobb on Kolb crime if you ask me... as said by yophillybro

We Need Maclin

We Need him healthy. Let him get himself 100% heal his body and they come bakc strong for the playoff run. Reggie has been doing a good job in backing up both desean and Mac when theyve been out
