Army-Navy game: A Philadelphia Classic kicks off today

While the Eagles head up the turnpike to face the Giants on Sunday, their stadium will be filled to capacity for the 110th Army/Navy game. This is the 110th game of a series that began in 1890. Navy holds a 53-49-7 lead and has won seven straight.

If Army wins today, they'll face Temple in the Eaglebank bowl in Washington. Navy is already in the Texas Bowl facing Jeremy Maclin's alma mater, Missouri.

Since 1890? Oh, please, that’s nothing. Why, back in my day, they never did that silly thing called a forward pass!!!

RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.

Dammit! As a Temple Alum and an Army VFW living in DC, I really wanted to see those two schools square off next week at Fedex Field!
