Comcast NFL Red Zone stat of the week - One Hundred Wins
The Eagles "stat of the week" is brought to you by Comcast and the new NFL Red Zone channel
This week's stat comes from the NFL itself, who twittered about the most successful teams this decade.
4 clubs have won 100 regular-season games this decade...Indy (113), NE (109), Phil (100) & Pitt (100)
I have a feeling that stat earned Andy Reid a new contract this week...
Comcast is carrying the new NFL Red Zone channel. NFL Red Zone lets you follow all the red zone action on NFL Sunday as it happens. When a team gets inside the twenty, the network cuts to that game. It's a fantasy player's dream.
They don't ever break for commercials and the action literally never stops. They don't just limit it to red zone trips either... I was watching last weekend and they would show any game live if no team happened to be in the red zone. This is probably the best thing ever invented for an NFL fan that's looking for something to flip to when the Eagles game goes to commercials...
Hey, if you were following the NFL Red Zone on Comcast... you probably would have thought Mike Vick was the best player on the field last week.

that’s great and all, but what do those teams have that we don’t have………..?
Yet...

Before a team can win a SB, they’ve got to get invited to the dance.
Reid & McNabb (love ‘em or hate ’em, it really doesn’t matter) have consistently gotten us to the dance.
Once they’re there, anything can happen…..
No, the Eagles have not yet won a SB.
But, they have consistently positioned themselves so that they have the opportunity to do so (they’ve made the playoffs….. gotten to the dance).
I’m as frustrated as anyone watching the Birds fail to win a SB year after year (after year).
But, I continue to be optimistic because they continue to earn they’re way into the playoffs.
Let’s not get negative on this team.
If they keep getting to the dance, eventually they’re going to leave with the girl…..
dude, i know what you’re saying. i love the fact that we always make it to the playoffs and usually win a few, but i don’t know if that’s enough anymore.
i like your analogy a lot, but do you what the the best part of the dance is? afterwards!
why do you things guys even go to the prom?
do they like dressing up and shelling out cash for a tux, flowers, and a limo (pre-season)?
no!
do they like knocking on her parents’ door, sitting in the living room, and carrying a nerve-racking conversation with her dad (regular season)?
No!
do they like dancing in the high school gym and looking like a tool bag in front of everyone (playoffs)?
NO!!!!!
they want what’s afterwards! making it to the playoffs only to lose is just like going through the entire evening just to have your date dump you for her friends. and you know what you get when that happens? blue balls. and nobody wants that.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
gotta love that ha
"... You play to win the game. Hello? You play to win the game. You don't play it to just play it. That's the great thing about sports: you play to win..."
well
I never went to the prom but attended a prom party every year i was in highschool and was 2 for 4.lol…
ooh yea back to football , Well it says that stat is probably why they gave him a new contract but the eagles could of used it to fire him too…wonder what Shanahan, holmgren, cower, dungy would look like on the sideline. Outside of Cincy we have the only franchise Qb without a ring….now we got weapons everywhere on offense and hopefully Dmac stays for at least 5 more we should be able to win it all if we get really lucky in the playoffs/superbowl bcuz we will get out coached and would need a ball to bounce our way to win it all….
