Me too.

Even though I’m not a fan of Gocong, I don’t trust a 7th round pick rookie starting at the position that’s supposed to be guarding Witten.

Excellent win, and it looks like they’ve found their future QB.

And, seriously- what in God’s name is going on with the Giants? Man, what an epic fall (or fail).

That’s his second 5 pick game, I think. I think he also had one week 1 or 2…

But how about Josh Freeman in his first start? He had 2 picks and sub-50%, but had three TDs and one that gave the Bucs the go ahead late in the fourth. Good start to his career.

RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.

by Imp on Nov 8, 2009 7:45 PM EST up reply actions

2 picks and a sub 50% completion percentage is not a good start…he was mediocre, and it was one start, and maybe the packers just aren’t that good

I haven’t been following them at all this season but every time I take a glance at the box score it’s a disaster. It seems like Rodgers is getting sacked at least like 5 times every game. How can an O-Line be THAT bad?

eggs

actly.

We were all in the bag for an RB, but so happy they actually got one … and a stud-in-development WR to go with it. I really think the sky’s the limit for this crew.

I’m way too confident obviously. Because I’m about to type “if we win tonight, it’ll only make me wonder how good we’d be feeling about this team if not for the Oakland loss.”

Maybe being humbled early is good.

I dunno

It’s already almost more of a movie than it is a game. Could they condense the 80 hours of cut scenes into one decent 2 hour movie?

Frankly, after seeing District 9 I’m bummed Neil Blomkamp didn’t get to make the Halo movie.

by JasonB on Nov 8, 2009 8:17 PM EST up reply actions

I don’t go to the movies much any more, very little worth paying for on the big screen (star trek this year maybe Holmes or Paranassus on christmas day) – but is Halo really an original story idea – aliens invade – or is it just a great video game they hope to capitalize on built in audience?

BUt do those 80s hours make sense? Don’t have PS3, just hear a lot of rumors that Kojima might be crazy

what bothers me about giants fans

the latest excuse is the kenny phillips injury…havent the eagles lost like 9 linebackers this year? plus dawkins in the offseason and all; its kind of ridiculous that they believe that phillips is the only thing stopping them from being a contender.

also the eli injury that is killing them since he is “playing hurt” im pretty sure mcnabbs ribs still hurt but he doesnt suddenly suck
