Sunday Football Open Thread
No Eagles until tonight, so we get to enjoy a day of Sunday football. It'll be a fairly tough week for our NFC East rivals as Washington travels to Atlanta in an early game and the Giants host the Chargers at 4:15.
Cardinals/Bears, Texans/Colts, Ravens/Bengals, and Dolphins/Patriots should all be interesting games as well.

Kind of feel bad for Lovie Smith... he has to coach these clowns.

Yeah, I just haven't had the opportunity to see em' play. Not to shabby.
"We're passionate fans... we gotta hammer someone."
On another note...
I see no reason why we should not be able to beat these Bears in two(?) weeks. I feel like we always lose to the Bears.

I went to the Bears/Eagles game last year. It was a good game but the end was depressing
"I hate listening to people's dreams. It is like flipping through a stack of photographs. If I'm not in any of them and nobody is having sex, I just don't care. "
I always want to go!
But, tickets are expensive/shitty seats, and I never know if it will be worth it.
Yeah. That game was a heartbreaker.
"We're passionate fans... we gotta hammer someone."
the past two games were heart brakers
remember that prevent defense we played that Griese came back and scored with like 7 seconds left? What sucks is we’re way better than the bears and we should’ve won — twice. I thikn McNabb played bad the second game too if I’m not mistaken.
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
I'm trying to repress that memory.
My roommate at the time was a huge Bears fan and she was gloating for weeks. All I could do was casually ask how those Cubs did that year.

It does feel like we always lose to the Bears and they just aren’t good.
One positive: I believe, Desean Jackson caught his first NFL touchdown last year against the Bears! Oh how he has progressed!

Sorry for the rapid posts
But they just referred to the Pat/Phins game as “Tom Brady Football”.
Barf.

my fantasy team sucks
Full of talented players that never show up.. Couple that with I got the most pts scored against me out of any other team by far and I’ll officially be out 20 bones within a few weeks.
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
Mann... my opponent has Kurt Warner.
Match-up irrelevent Ray Rice, is finally getting bottled up, granted Baltimore is thoroughly been dominated by Cincinnati.

I don't know whats better...
They switched the Bears-Cardinals to Packers-Bucs.

The Bucs aren’t playing half bad from the couple minutes I’ve watched it. I think the Packers are just not that good.
On another note, I think the Buc’s Jerseys are colored “coral banana”, the same color my prome date a couple years ago basically told me to find to match her. Oh life.

holy crap...
WHAT a hit by Driver after talib picks it off. Knocked the wind out of him. Bucs possibly winning first game of the season?

And Washington is trying to make it a game...
This season has been so weird.

why is Wayne throwing?

Tampa Bay Bucs win first game of the season.
Pick 6 seals it…even though the guy should have just went down after the interception…

wooooooooowwwwww
texans were a kick away from tieing it after a long drive with 1 sec left and the kicker fuckin misses it, unbeleivable colts go to 8-0.lame

UGH
And I was doing so damn well in fantasy…now it’s a three way tie for first place. Unbelievable.
'
I love Ray Rice…
Even when he does have a cruddy day, he still gets me 20+ pts. Match-up irrelevant!

here come the panthers
"The punt to DeSean Jackson. The punt. Short, Jackson takes it at the 32. Looks for running room, reverses the field. He's at the 40. 50, 45, 40, 35, 30, He's gonna go!
"McNabb in the shotgun again. McNabb takes the snap, fakes, he's back, he's looking, he is going deep for DeSean Jackson, who races, has it! TOUCHDOWN!!! DeSean Jackson!!

Alex Smith back to being Alex Smith in the last 2 possessions of the 49ers/Titans game – he just gives it away with his arm.
