Harbaugh: Andy Reid has ruined the Cowboys' decade
Earlier this week we ran some choice words from Ravens' coach John Harbaugh on the Dallas Cowboys. Today, even more of the thoughts he shared on "America's Team" in the book Game Changers have come out.
"Andy Reid is the guy who ruined the [current] decade for the Cowboys. Think about it. They've been trying to get back to where they were [in the 1990s] the whole decade – and the Eagles have been the ones keeping them from getting there. They've stuck daggers in the Cowboys year after year."
Dallasnews.com agreed with Harbaugh's assessment saying "That's beyond Harbaugh's opinion – it's fact." In what is a very entertaining read, they detail a decade of Dallas disappointments vs the Eagles.

Interesting comment, some truth in it...
“They’ve been trying to get back to where they were [in the 1990s] the whole decade – and the Eagles have been the ones keeping them from getting there. They’ve stuck daggers in the Cowboys year after year.”
But it’s really weak… Trying to get back to where they were… They won Super Bowls in the 90s… The Eagles haven’t… So, in reality, the Eagles didn’t kept them from getting there because a team took the Eagles off the way there.
No points for falling short, Bills fans know this quite well, Eagle fans do too.

France “used” to be a superpower…but nobody gives them points for what they once did. They only get points for being losers in the 20th century.
The Cowboys are the France of the NFL.

good point
Chandus, you don’t see Chicago Bulls fans talking smack to Dallas Maverick fans, do you? it’s absurd. mavs hit the playoffs every year now. do you understand now why the superbowl argument is just an excuse for why you suck now?

True
But, saying that the Eagles kept the Eagles from getting there is like saying:
“That the British Empire kept Germany from conquering the whole world”.
When in fact the Russians stand and latert Offense and the U.S. push were what pushed Germany to surrender.

Just a thought
I think Andy Reid really ATE up the competition over the last ten years. I mean, he sure has SQUASHED the Cowboys. Some say his success has been OFF THE SCALE. I guess he proved himself to be the BIGGER man. In fact, you could say he’s OVERWEIGHT and has a high amount of BODY FAT.

I like Andy Reid as well but Im a big Jim Johnson fan.
JJs defense were well coached, fast and hard hitting. His game plans were well concieved and well executed. Everyone one was on the same page flying around ponding people.. Many of his players had their best years under him.
When you talk to Cowboy fans we mostly think Donovan is a good QB and mostly think Reid is a good coach but we all think the world of JJ. JJ was the Dick Lebeau of the NFC. We worry and fear your Defense. Im thinking(maybe wishful thinking) that Over the next 3 years Reid and Donovan wont look as good without JJ bailing them out.
Donovan might be the face of the franchise but that smash mouth Defense is the Eagle Identity.
P.S. Harbaugh is a D&ck head. He and his publisher know that if he blasts the Cowboys the publicity he recieves would be over the top. Cant buy this kind of marketing. Screw Him. I hope his ass is unemployed soon.

Truthfully, Jerry Jones thinking he knew more than Jimmy Johnson was the downfall of the Cowboys.

It's a shame that Jim Harbaugh is actually a very, very good head coach
The same cannot be said for Mr. Phillips.

How do you know. A stack D, a top 5 GM, with a Franchise QB.
I could coach that team.
