This doesn’t really make any sense to me. The 700 level of the vet is a piece of Philly sports lore. It’s defined by a lot more than just a few idiots and some negative anecdotes.

It’s not all negative, far from it… despite the media and opposing fans attempt to do so.

I applaud you for being a good person but this kind of seems like reverse racism. Its like your expecting people to dislike your handle so your changing it. Anyways I am happy your not one of our poor reps. I know all about it, I actually almost got into a fight at the Carolina game to open the season with one of our own because he was just being malicious to a couple who was just sore over the blowout. I told the guy, 20 yrs older than me at least, that I’d skull fuck him and break his nose…and he shut up the entire game. Although I was a tad over bored, numerous Carolina and Eagles fans came up to me and thanked me and patted me on the back. WE BLEED THE GREEN, but lets not be dickheads. Unfortunately due to 7% of our population the rest of us have to go out of our way to prove we are not. Good post Artist formerly known as 700 level.

Who cares about fans of other teams that have some dumb misconception about Philly?

I’m not sure what I’m gonna do yet. I was pissed off about a couple things last night and maybe made a stupid move. We’ll see. Maybe I’ll go back to it… But i meant everything i wrote above. I’ve had it with idiot eagles fans.

I will never change my name from EvilBanner. I think we choose names because they represent some aspect of what we feel legitimately expresses our feelings for the team. For me, the name 700 Level hearkens back to an honest and manly time in philly sports when players had heart and fans felt true passion. Lurie and his cabana boy have brought a sissified chardonnay (or white zinfandel) sipping vibe to the Linc that the old school guys recognize and resent. I feel my name represents my loathing for Banner and the boys at the Nova Care complex. 700 Level, I feel your name represented a better time in Philly sports. I will miss it.
