The Linc - More surgery for Shawn Andrews
Shawn Andrews needs second back surgery | Philadelphia Inquirer | 11/26/2009
Shawn Andrews needs a second back operation. Rich Moran, the agent for the Eagles' two-time Pro Bowl guard, said yesterday that Robert Watkins will perform a more extensive surgery than the previous one next week out in Southern California.
Running Rock: Cartwright is Redskins starting back - nfl - SI.com
When the Washington Redskins set their roster for the regular season in September, Cartwright saw three running backs ahead of him. He felt dissed because he was regarded only as a special teams player, despite his seven loyal years of service to the franchise.
McDermott makes most of what he has on defense | AP | 11/26/2009
Guys, meet your new teammate. Since the first month of the season, the Philadelphia Eagles have added a new defensive player nearly every week. Welcoming unfamiliar faces are becoming a routine part of the daily position meetings.
Redskins-Eagles Preview - Nov. 25, 2009 - NFL - CBSSports.com Game Preview
In the midst of a tight three-team race for the NFC East lead, the Philadelphia Eagles can't afford a slip-up against the division's last-place club. Based on the Washington Redskins' play away from the nation's capital, that shouldn't be a problem.
DMac: Put Harold in Hall | Philadelphia Daily News | 11/25/2009
agles quarterback Donovan McNabb demurred Wednesday when asked if he agreed with coach Andy Reid's assertion that McNabb will be a Hall of Famer, but McNabb said he knows someone who should be -- Eagles director of player development and alumni Harold Carmichael. Carmichael ranked sixth on the NFL's all-time reception list when he retired in 1984, with 590 receptions, in a much less pass-happy era. His 589 Eagles catches remain the franchise record, and he played in four Pro Bowls.

Maybe hes not the complete pussy we made him out to be? Maybe there was actually something wrong with him…

i always thought that there was something seriously wrong with his back
its not like reid was making some cover up conspiracy to sideline a pro bowl guard
nonetheless i always thought he was crazy…we all did…and we all seem to be right about that. But we shouldn’t jump to conclusions if we don’t know the whole story

How does Eskin know that?
I mean seriously? A doctor is going to suggest to perform major back surgery on a person more because they are depressed? I can see that statement applying for some type of cosmetic surgery, but back surgery? Especially in today’s insurance climate? There are times I really think Eskin has his head up his ass.

You can be crazy AND have a horfifically bad back.
I think he’s done. 2 back surgeries and expecting a guy to return to Pro Bowl form? I don’t see that hapening. I just hope the guy can live a normal life physically at this point.

So he gets the back surgery so he can play again… but who does he play for? Why would we sign Winston and then have him get surgery so he can come back and play… isn’t he still a liability? OK – he has back problems but there is still a chance he comes back next year and things are the same.

Damn straight Harold Carmichael deserves the HOF
It’s nut that he isn’t in (yet). It also show how dumb some of these HOF voters really are…
RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.

Agree about Carmichael
The guy was #6 all time in receptions when he retired. Plus he had that incredible catch per game streak back in the early 80’s. I didn’t see him as a slam dunk HOF’er, but I definitely think he is deserving.

I hope this Redskins game isn't a trap game
As bad as the Skins are they have a very good defense. Even without Haynesworth they looked pretty solid against the Cowboys. They got some good pass rushers and somehow their secondary looks stout with mediocre talent.

What Eskin doesn’t know about football could fill the grand canyon. I honestly believe Eskin stirs up half-truths or boob opinions to help his ratings, he entertains every half-baked rumor or drunk fan opinion, and tries to create controversy wherever he can. He’s a bearded retard with the gift of gab.
