Brandon Gibson starting

Yes, its didn't take but a few weeks. Our friend Brandon Gibson is already starting opposite Donnie Avery at St Louis and has gotten around 12 catches in 2 games. We knew he was gonna be good, but I didn't expect him to start already. I hope we don't regret trading him.

Apparently not a great start for Gibson

Yahoo named him as one of the 5 least valuable players…

Brandon Gibson(notes), WR, St. Louis Rams. Gibson dropped a pass in the endzone that would’ve given the Rams a chance to tie the Cardinals and force overtime. Here’s a related stat for you: Tied for the lead this week in times targeted were Wes Welker(notes) and Brandon Gibson, both with 17. Welker had 15 catches. Gibson had five. I’m sure Marc Bulger(notes) shares a lot of the blame on that, but it’s still an awful, awful percentage.

The entire Ram's offense is pretty pathetic -- save Stephen jackson

I wouldnt buy into that stat too much. I think it’s great that after only a few weeks, as a rookie he takes on a starting role.T he kid has talent for sure

I'm not sure how fair a stat that is.

There has been times where we had receivers being targeted a ton of times. However, the passess may have been uncatchable or tipped. I’m not sure what his drops are. That would be more telling.

I think the fact that he is starting after a few weeks and is being targeted is a good sign. Lets remember, this is a guy that we didn’t even activate, and he is starting already for an NFL team. I wish him the best.

But thanks for those stats though, I didn’t know he was targeted so often. Thats a good sign for those fantasy guys. You want a receiver who is targeted, gives him more chances at putting up points.

Bleed green, or don't bleed at all!
