I hate this matchup
We never ever do well, and we’re on primetime to boot.
LETS BUCK THE TREND, GO EAGLES! Need to keep pace with the boys and vgiants
Definitely
Now it truly is a must win game. However, I’m definitely looking forward to the ‘Boys rematch. They looked horrible against the ’Skins and don’t scare me at all.
yeah. he and Amendola
are on the same team though…..
it’s kinda nice to see were not the only team that lost to the Raiders (Bengals lost)
"The punt to DeSean Jackson. The punt. Short, Jackson takes it at the 32. Looks for running room, reverses the field. He's at the 40. 50, 45, 40, 35, 30, He's gonna go!
"McNabb in the shotgun again. McNabb takes the snap, fakes, he's back, he's looking, he is going deep for DeSean Jackson, who races, has it! TOUCHDOWN!!! DeSean Jackson!!

please god let them beat the boys
All those weeks of them saying “you lost to the raiders” drove me nuts
need some vindication
Hill
I thought since we signed him off of the NO practice squad he has to be on the active roster the rest of the season?
Here's my predictable bitching about the game not starting already
Its fucking 8 30, and no kick off… It must be nice to live in the west coast
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
They need to fit in every possible bit of advertising. God forbid they actually start on time.

my only complaint is that it is scheduled for 8:20 kickoff and obviously that’s not happening. If they said 8:45 kickoff then so be it just be on time.

i was thinking that too...
maybe people are starting to fall of the bandwagon again? It was about this time last year I think people started to lose hope.
Holidays and the abysmal play of the Eagles contribute to that. It will pick up again.

as soon as this team makes its annual second-half run.
You know how it goes, slow start, promise, midseason swoon, playoff run, disappointing end

Fire Mcnabb
Put Vick in…..
Just kidding. Just seeing who’s awake.
At least we’re running the ball. Extrapolated out to a full game, Vick will have 237 yards running, and we’ll end up with 42 points, all in field goals.
"Sometimes, children, fear is an appropriate response"
I swear in any big pressure situation McNabb gets so damn flustered
Maybe the 3rd down play was a tough one to make but Celek was there on 2nd and 5
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
Looked like it was open
when he made his break, but closed up by the time the ball got there.
Still waiting for the Eagles to Bring It Home For Jerome
This is why we’re a “Big Play” team. Reid knows this team can’t get the job done in the red zone, so he just tries to lob the ball over it.

the plays were there dude
we didnt make them… very litle to dowith coaching there
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
I’m not blaming that last drive on Reid’s playcalling. I’m saying the reason he calls so many deep passes throughout a game is because of poor red-zone drives like that last one.

true
I’m just saying Cole is in his 5th season Strahan played 15 so yea his numbers look like mountains. But Cole can very easily equal that if he continues this level of play for 10 more years which is by no means an easy thing to do.
Jim Johnson 1941-2009

he has the talent
and I wouldn’t doubt him. He’s one of the top DE’s in the game.
Its just strah had a few monster seasons that Cole would have to play a while to match.
That’s all I’m saying. Cole’s first 5 years are pretty much on par or better with Strahan.
But its those few hugh years that Strahan had that will set the 2 apart. I think Cole is capable of doing it tho.
Its also those 15 years.
If Cole is lucky he’ll get to 10. Tho if he gets to that 15, he’d be up there

I knew this game would suck
Two mediocre teams battling it out. I really thought the Eagles would actually blow the Bears out… 10 crappy points and if Cutler’s head wasnt so far up his ass they would have a TD too
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
Well
two turnovers are drive killers

Turnovers
What’s with the lack of turnovers? The Birds were a turnover machine, but the past 3 weeks they’ve got bubkiss- even now with Cutler.
