Around SBN: Full Coverage Of New York's Victory Celebration

We are DANGEROUS!

The guys on NFL Network to my surprise were saying that the amounts of offensive weapons on this team could rank up there with the best in history.

I don't believe it and think the comments they were making were definitely premature however I love all the young guys and think when the O-line gets in form as one that we will be scary if not already.

The 4 young studs all scored yesterday. Lesean, Maclin, Desean, and Celek.

May even be better next year with Ingram coming off injury. We could run a sick 2 TE set with him and Celek.

Loving the future of this team so far.

how is ingram doing

did he tear the same muscle in his knee that he did in college.because if thats the case im not too optimistic on his return to the nfl

by rainvillefromottawa on Nov 2, 2009 11:41 AM EST reply actions

Yes, it was the same one

but some were saying it was expected because the repair wasn’t good the first time. Supposedly it was done right this time, so his return should be fine.

Jalarsen1 is correct....

Many said that Ingrams FIRST surgery was not a very good one. IN other words…just a quick patch-up job to get him going for the Combine and Pro Day!! We know that The Eagles tend to go all out for their players when they sustain an injury and or need surgery! Really seeking the best Doctors/ Specialists out there. That’s why im confident that he will come back strong. Also Buckhalter has multiple knee surgeries on the SAME knee, and he’s light’n it up in Dever right now! He also was a GREAT weapon for us even after his many surgeries. I’m VERY excited for next year when he is fully healed! Ingram and Celek are gonna be an explosive combo!

i asked jason b about ingram and he said the same thing, he will be good to go next season

by eaglesinmd on Nov 2, 2009 1:29 PM EST up reply actions

"Patch work" No, I know...I meant to say something else rather...

I didnt mean LITERALLY a “Patch Job”. They wouldn’t just say, “Ok we’ll just do this for now to hold you off!” I was just figuratively speaking. Come on man, that would be Crazy if they REALLY did a “Patch Job”!

But i know what I was tryin to say.. Its cool.

Cowboys fan here

You do indeed have a very good group of guys. I think this Sunday will be a tough test for both teams. Looking forward to a good game this weekend!

2009 Dallas Cowboys: 10-6
2009 New York Jets: 11-5?
2009-2010 Dallas Mavericks: 57-25

Agreed.

I think you guys are spreading the wealth on offense as well. just wish Witten was the fantasy stud as he usually is. :(

I know

He’s on mine too. He’s doing ok, but he’s not the ace he was before.

Next year we'll be really really good!! :)

Our Future looks good!! I hope we resign Weaver, as expected.
Ingram is a beast, he’s gonna fit right in! Maclin will become a great WR in the opposite side of Jackson. Lesean will become a FORCE. (I LOVE how Westbrook is taking this kid under his wing, TRUE PROFESIONAL). As expected by West!
Celek has to improve in blocking still, but once he does he’s gonna be a Pro Bowler! (He might Sneak in this Year!) :)
Do I really have to say anything about DJack. (D.Jackson!) a.k.a SPEED KILLS!!!
I got 4 words: THE BOY IS BAD!
(since we drafted him & seen him play in pre-seaon I KNEW he was gonna change the game for us!!!! :) Awsome Speed, Great HANDS!)
FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHTER THEN EVER!!!!!!!!!
(not to MENTION our Young DEFENSE! Bradley COMING BACK, with Weatherspoon NOW on our ROSTER!) :) I REALY like Weatherspoon!
great Addition!

+1

Couldn’t agree more…with everything lol

We need to resign weaver the most out of all our expiring contracts imo…not sure if we can afford Spoon’s contract with all the young guys that WE NEED to lock up for the future…hopefully tho…we’d have a nasty LB corps with him, Stew, and Jordan.

thanks 5 plus!

I think we’ll find cap room for Weatherspoon!
I dont see us trading a player n a draft pick if we didn’t think highly of Spoon!
The man (Spoon) can Flat out Play!!
Dont be surprised if he ends of being that Defensive Leader we needed!! (after Dawkins Departure!) The guys a Veteran talented LB with speed!
Trust me we will be better next year as a UNIT then we r this year!
(O-Line will Develope!)
