Philadelphia wide receiver DESEAN JACKSON had a 54-yard touchdown reception in the Eagles’ 40-17 win over the New York Giants. Jackson became just the second player in NFL history with six touchdowns (four receiving, one rushing, one punt return) of at least 50 yards in his team’s first seven games of a season. Jackson joins Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver ELROY (CRAZYLEGS) HIRSCH, who had six touchdowns of at least 50 yards in 1951 with the Los Angeles Rams, as the only players to accomplish the feat.

It’s actually kind of hard to believe somebody had already done that.

The One.

He’s gonna stand alone by the end of the season.

This won’t be his last by my estimation.

I know some of you were at the game too. I was at the 50 yard line, top row, on the visitors side – everybody started screaming and yelling, “he’s open, he’s open, he’s open!!!” when jackson ran that route for the TD. People were screaming even before he caught the touchdown, it was insane.

and Daryl Johnston was on the tube saying

How can you let a guy get that wide open? What is the saying? Once is luck, twice is coincidence, three times is talent…..

Someone blew that one

It was either Webster or CC Brown…

But there’s no doubting Jackson is an elite talent. What a stud
