Andrews Brothers or Brand/Dalembert?

This came up on 610 WIP this morning. Who is a bigger waste of $ and time for their organizations?

Well Dalembert has started every game the past 4 seasons so that is a good and bad thing. They are both making a ridiculous amount of money for not much production and Brand missed 50+ games last year. The fact that Dalembert is getting paid 12 mil this year and Brand is getting just shy of 15 mil is pretty upsetting.

Shawn Andrews will make just under 3.3 mil this year and Stacey Andrews salary is 4.6 mil and he could make as much as 5.8mil. They aren’t getting paid a whole lot of money (in terms of the NFL) even if they aren’t producing or even making it on the field.

The only other thing to consider is the 80 million dollar contract Brand signed is guaranteed as well as the remainder of of Sammy D’s contract. The Andrews sisters cost the Eagles a whopping 1 mil to cut after this year and nothing the year after that.

Yeah I would totally go Dalembert and Brand too

at least its mostly an injury thing for the Andrews, well thats mostly what I hope any way, Stacey is still not even a year removed from a knee tear and Shawn has some kind of a back issue and being a big man its harder for him, also if Shawn ever gets to be himself again he is one of the best offensive linemen in the league. Dalembert is constantly in the starting lineup but you never know what your going to get from him and Brand looks to be a shell of him self, also its hard to bounce back from an Achilles tendon injury, its probably one of the more underrated injury in sports almost more devastating than a knee injury.

Atleast Dalembert and Brand are playing. Stacy, when he’s in has been terrible. Shawn is out for the season and who knows after that, a back problem can linger. Also, wasn’t Stacy brought in to help out Shawn, so much for that. Brand put up nice number vs. the Bobcats, 41 minutes, 20-some points. Maybe this will be a turnaround. As for Dalembert, well hes hopeless, but as of now the Andrews’ deal looks worse
