The Cowboys lost , the falcons lost , and we lost so that pretty much means today didnt happen, only thing today did was throw the Giants right back into it and we always beat the G-men (post plax). Mcnabb looked great ! and welcome to Philadelphia Jason Avant great game, great hands, great route running...so now we def. have the best young rcvr core, i really liked the double reverse to Maclin, looked like if djax would of thrown the pitch when he was supposed to and take a hit Mac would of had about 60 yards to run untouched, not mad at taking the points early on with 4th and 1 ..would of worked if we could of stopped the bolts on that last drive. Brandon Gibson had 5 catches for 93 in his NFL debut , B Dawk had 12 tackles today. Our D had 3 starters out so what can you expect...our Run d looked pretty bad. Macho showed up today with some big hits and that Kickoff return in the last 30 seconds. My biggest problem with the play calling was the use of Mike Vick...we had about four different 3rd and 3's or less and didnt use M.Vick once....he will pick up a first prolly 80% of the time, please put Vick in to correct the 3 rd and short, plus vick looked good on that throw he had. So overall I am as happy as you could be with a loss i guess....things arent that bad, just gotta get the D in the right direction and make the playoffs and then anything can happen. Im still thinking eagles superbowl this year !!!! Hollers,

It all Depends on the D and the Oline........
If the D can get off the field when it counts and the oline can give some protection we def. hav a chance. Defense wins championships and we can get one if only if ours steps up several notchs
I use to think Defenses won championships too
Until I watch the Bears vs Colts Superbowl game. The Bear without a doubt had the better defense coming in to that game. The Bears team was #1 at the time! Yet they lost! Why…Rex “Reckless” Grossman lived up to his name. Rex played AWFUL! They couldn’t score becuz of him! A defense can only hold Peyton for so long until he starts to pick it apart! No matter how good ur defense is, your offense needs to score points and rest ur defense! So I say, playing good on all three phases and minimal mistakes, win Championships!

that was the first year they had a good DEFENSE.

just wanted to post something positive after being in the open threads all day and seeing all the negative comments…andy ried sucks Ill give you that , but i see us winning the next 5 games str8. superbowl Hollerz.
the mike vick throw should have been caught
and i was soooo excited when the ball was in the air, but it was thrown behind desean…. not a professional QB caliber throw.

We’ve seen McNabb throw PLENTY of horrible passes behind receivers, in the dirt, sky rockets, and just plan misses open receivers! So u can’t justify, “not a professional QB caliber throw.”
I do agree it should’ve been caught! Plan in simple. Djax had two hands on that ball and was all alone with no defender! Should have been caught

I don’t want him on the field at all if they aren’t going to use him for what he’s good at. Having him hand the ball of is a waste and if he only gets 2-3 snaps a game you aren’t really “setting the defense up”

i was being generous with the one to two appearences haha
and as for using him for “what he’s good at”… i’m not even sure what that is anymore.
